Well played Greens.  I don't care what the Field fans say the best team on the day were Wharfedale

GP. It was best to ignore. Some were like the Shed, but on some halucinagenic drug.
Greens the best team throughout.

They thought the ref was biased and that our line outs were never straight but they were …….they went straight to our forwards ;)

Hey Mr Waltzer! Are you old enough to recall Wharfedale’s last visit to your Waterloo ground? The crooked ref then (Brian Campsall) was so unsporting as to red-card two of your players, no names but they were W*rkman and L*umley.

they  will be hurting that they lost  with all that talent  they have signed  and the harsh red card wont have helped according  to waltzer   but it sounds like wharfedale  matched  them in all departments  its a big game for them next week against hull ionians  anyway well done to the green machine for a fantastic performance  today

I still stand by my opinion that it was a harsh red that spoilt what would have been a more even contest. The high arm tackle by a Wharfedale player a little later, (that in the refs opinion only merited a yellow) and the subsequent straight punch by a Wharfedale player that was missed/ignored just made us feel we didn't get the rub of the green.

Fair play to Wharfedale who played really well on the day, but against 14 men it's normally easier. I look forward to the visit to Grassington in April.

It sounds like a great result and I’m gutted to miss the game today. I do think the standard of refs in the league is sometimes questionable, but I don’t think I have seen a bias one, normally just poor, which evens itself out during the game. Hudd’s will just be smarting from loosing at home, but ‘dale have put together a great run of late despite a number of injuries and absences throughout the squad.

It's funny, the Wharfedale fans are quite happy to give it out, but when the boot's on the other foot it's all a conspiracy.

I'll give you a clue, it was Chester vs Wharfdale this season. Talk of the ref admitting - in the bar after the game - he'd made a mistake in disallowing a perfectly good Wharfedale try...reality was something completely different.

Calling BS on that 👍.

Reference the match report for the real story.

DD

The story is not a story, it's fact.
Where is the conspiracy theory for today?

The only fact was that the ref made the correct call in the game at Hare Lane. Tall tales about the ref in the bar after the games doesn't change the outcome.

Some crack about the Hudds fans being on halucinagenic drugs today, I'd counter that the poor losers from Yorkshire were on those same drugs for their visit to Cheshire.

Backrowbob, how about we agree to disagree? I don't want this to end up like the Monty9/Goal Kicker thread.
