I have often wondered about the 2 consecutive home/2 consecutive away games but I was educated as to why quite recently
Mathematically it is impossible to fulfil the fixtures without doing so
Week 1 will have 8 teams at home and 8 away obv!
If each team alternated home/Away/home/Away etc etc then teams in the same group would never be able to play each other unless you had the consecutive 2 home/2 Away - Simples! It's the same throughout the pyramid in leagues with even numbers
That obviously gets disrupted with postponements but has to be done when the fixtures are originally scheduled to fit them into the programme

I wasn't present, but it seems that Leicester Lions are starting to knit together as a team and the win at the weekend was a sign that this new side are beginning to turn a corner at home. Looking at the league, it seems there's still a long way to go as it is still difficult to predict a winner in each game.

NR - if you have the accounts for all the sides with accurate details on their spending please publish them. Most ofus have not got a clue what our clubs really spend.

I think probably but I doubt it. You should have seen some of my PMs (from NR) last and earlier this season 😂😂😂😂.

Anyway Ionians to go up. Chester (DD is right) second but the travel south for the playoff will be far too much for the best side I’ve seen in NL2N this season.

Down for me Peterborough Lions however I think they will quickly bounce back. I loved their attitude at Park Lane. Very sadly but most definitely the Macc Lads and most probably South.

But what do I know

The game is all about opinions, and I greatly respect yours DD and everyone’s for that matter. However our last away game between Macc and Sedge was shocking fare from both sides. Least forgetting the match report that tried ‘rightly’ and played it up to be a ‘real nail biter’ it was in reality and sadly a very poor game played by one side very much lacking in confidence, direction and aggression (it just won’t come together) and one team very courageous and full of passion, pride and energy, but lacking in quality in the right areas which would hurt others.

The nature of the league this season for me sees Macc going down. Sorry The Macc Lads. Right that’s the Kiss of death dealt. They will now go on an unbeaten run and finish mid table.😀😂😂 I hope so.

Good luck to all teams in the second half of the season. Who knows what will happen
