It's interesting that Southend who went on a tremendous run to avoid relegation, have now lost half their team who have been 'tempted' to move down the road to London 2 side Rochford. They will need to recruit some good players if they are to compete in this league next season.

"Half their team" has decided to move from NL3SE ( or whatever its going to be called) to London 2 ????.
I understand that money talks but have the players no ambition ?
Southend could be in contention for promotion next season if their 2nd half of the season form is anything to go by so anything Rochford can do Southend could do equally but at a much higher level.
If it is a choice between some money and a good standard or more money and L2 I know what one I'd go for. The difference in money can only be £30 to £40 per game.

It seems that most of the Southend pack and the head coach have decided to take the big bucks. Expect Rochford to win London 2 next season at a canter !   Southend on the other hand will really struggle unless they can recruit a lot of good players.
