Brentwood 4 v Sidcup 1, Brentwood on their own slope
Brexiteers 5 v Bedford 0, rumour has it CS have found some savings and lavished on some new recruits...
Guildford 0 v Hertford 5, despite the excursion Hertford to strong
SandE 4 v Dorking 1, going with the home side
Tring 5 v Chingford 2 Tring at home and the part timers might be still struggling with fitness
Westcliff 5 v TW/Tonbridge 0, Sides nearing promotion dont have to pannick yet
Wombles 5 v Shelford 0 but would not surprised if Shelford turn them over

Brentwood -v- Sidcup  1-4   No balcony for Dangerous Dave   but with feet on the ground a happier trip to Essex for him perhaps?
CS Stags 1863 -v- Bedford Athletic 1-4   Maybe last week's freak result was just a  flash in a  rather different sort of  pan : the sort Combe seem to be swimming in currently at the level below - Oh the ignominy! - and there is   chunter about whether we  could use a new brush!  Above my humble  pay grade I am afraid.
Guildford -v- Hertford         0-4  Guildford's current  performances are sure to have Dave Ward frothing at the mouth. Andy Goode doesn't like him much or at all in fact!  https://rugbyonslaught.com/footage-andy-goode-explains-exactly-why-he-doesnt-like-dave-ward-and-it-goes-back-years/
Sutton & Epsom -v- Dorking   5-0  Sutton should put Dorking in their  place.
Tring -v- Chingford   4-0   I am wondering about  the nature of that pan again.  Tring are at home  though.
Westcliff -v- Tunbridge Wells   5-0  I'd be very surprised by anything else!
Wimbledon -v- Shelford  5-0 and even more so here!

BRENTWOOD 4-1 Sidcup- I saw enough of Wood last week to have faith that with home advantage they may just win this. I also like Cup as a team so could be wrong. Close call.
CS STAGS 1863 5-0 Bedford Athletic- Visitors dont travel well, whereas Stags are strong at home and are in form.
Guildford 1-4 HERTFORD-If Hertford want promotion they must win this against a team on the downslide. If there is dissent amongst the coaches? losing dressing room confidence?
Sutton & Epsom 1-4 DORKING-Expect a feisty contest with no quarter given. D's are looking to regain bragging rights after the first game and have key players returning. The cold will not prevent a big crowd, so lets hope rugby is the winner. Having said that Sutts are in top form and Hodgson and co will not want the winning to stop. MOTD
TRING 5-1 Chingford- Tring to bounce back at home after last weeks dis-appointment unless they are badly weakened with injuries.
WESTCLIFF 5-0 Tunbridge Wells- Cliff are delivering on my last seasons prediction, and I still expect them to get in the top two, although they will need to beat Dorking on the final dayDisapprove
WIMBLEDON 5-0 Shelford- I cant see a surprise here even though Dons have been taken close a couple of times already. Sad demise for friendly Shelford.

HNY to all. Lots of talk about promotion and the challenge it offers. IMO all teams at L5 should experience it. AFAIK Dorking,Wimbledon,Shelford,Hertford and soon to be L5 again Guernsey have experienced the challenge. No doubt in my mind any team cannot survive without a depth of squad and quality this level currently does not have. But aspire to your dreams and prepare for the experience. It is fantastic for clubmen and fans alike.

I shall be off to Rugby Lane saturday and hope to see a great game. Good luck to all.

Bit close to the wire.
Brentwood -v- Sidcup 1-4 Brentwood struggling to find a win and Cup going well
CS Stags 1863 -v- Bedford Athletic 5-1 HMRC will have been boosted by last week's game
Guildford -v- Hertford 4-1 Hertford don't seem to travel well but Gs on a losign streak
Sutton & Epsom -v- Dorking 4-1 Sutts to win a close  derby
Tring -v- Chingford 5-0 Can't see Tring losing this at home
Westcliff -v- Tunbridge Wells 5-0 Cliff to go through the gears at home
Wimbledon -v- Shelford 5-0 Wombles to thump a struggling team
What was wrong with calling it London 1?

Superb game at Rugby Lane yesterday where Sutton deserved their victory against a game Dorking side, two good teams that entertained our largest crowd of the season; close to 800, but Suttons defence and their ability to take their chances when their opportunities arose was the difference in the two sides. The lack lustre performances at home to Chingford and RTW are a distant memory and with everyone available Sutton really are a decent side, coached fantastically by Schmidt and Hodgson. Do we want to go up, why not, will we need to strengthen our squad, probably, but the general feeling around the club is positive. Very nice speaking to someone new to the club who normally watches Rosslyn Park who found yesterdays match far more entertaining than some of the dour forward orientated battles in National one. Still lots to play for with difficult away fixtures against Sidcup, RTW and Westcliff on the horizon so certainly not taking anything for granted, but enjoying the ride anyway.

Fully agree with you CD. In my heart I always hoped for a Dorking win and loyalty cost me a full sweep of predictions last week. The way Sutts have been playing recently suggested it would be difficult for D's and so it proved, but all in all a good well contested fair game. Good to see Jason Munford is still holding his form and position. If Sutts continue in this vein they will be contesting for at least the play-off position. Good luck to you all, but IMO you will need a similar 'shadow squad' equal to the quality you now have to stay alive should you get promoted. There are very few teams with the money that BS and OE's have. Like I said the experience and journey of N2S is not to be missed and will be fun for everyone.
