Looked like a low scoring week across the board as there were a few surprises
Bedford Athletic -v- Dorking 4-1 Ath bouncing after their away win (which I forecast ![]() Brentwood -v- Tunbridge Wells 5-1 If the supine TW of last week turn up CS Stags 1863 -v- Chingford 5-0 HMRC bouncing after beating Dons last week Guildford -v- Shelford 5-0 Enuff said Sutton & Epsom -v- Hertford 5-0 Sutts confidence must be sky high Tring -v- Sidcup 5-0 Too strong at home Wimbledon -v- Westcliff 4-1 Genuinely have no idea. Going with home Looks ahead S&E have to travel to both Cliff and Dons before the end of the season. Title genuinely seems to be a 3 horse race.

What was wrong with calling it London 1?

Another great game at Hertford on Saturday, disappointing result but proud of how the team fronted up after losing center & wing after 30 mins. Another one that got away, onto next week. Bedford Athletic 1v4 Dorking Brentwood 5v0 Tunbridge Wells CS Stags 1863 5v0 Chingford Guildford 0v5 Shelford Sutton & Epsom 4v1 Hertford Tring 5v0 Sidcup Wimbledon 1v4 Westciff |

Slightly off topic, but just had a look at N2S table and looks like Guernsey and London Irish might be joining this level next season as both are 11 points off 4th bottom. Unless there are dramatic changes in the bottom 4 positions before now and season end. Would this mean Irish go to N3SW? Early days I know. but just asking hypothetically.

Assuming only 1 gets promoted I can see any scenario could happen. Guernsey and/or LIWG could go to SW. Equally Birmingham will likely go to Midlands so another transfer perhaps?

That’s good to hear Bruce, thanks for the update. Wishing him a full recovery. It’s always worrying when ambulances have to be called. |

Bedford Athletic -v- Dorking 1-4 Really undecided on this one but dorking have seemed to pick up results against teams below them, home and away
Brentwood -v- Tunbridge Wells 5-0 Brentwood have been threatening a complete performance for a few weeks CS Stags 1863 -v- Chingford 5-0 CS Stags form to continue Guildford -v- Shelford 5-0 :( Sutton & Epsom -v- Hertford 5-0 S&E D is too good Tring -v- Sidcup 5-0 Tring back in form Wimbledon -v- Westciff 1-4 Wimbledon beginning to lag behind possibly?! |

Bedford Athletic 1-v-5 Dorking Bedford have conceded over 200 points more than Dorking and expect the Dorking backs to capitalise Brentwood 4-v-1 Tunbridge Wells Think Brentwood will sneak this in a low scoring affair CS Stags 1863 5-v-1 Chingford Stags on a role but expect Chingford to fight until the end Guildford 5 v-0 Shelford Only result I am confident on Sutton & Epsom 5-v-0 Hertford Leaders v 4th and very close on points for and against but think S&E are on a roll Tring 5-v-0 Sidcup Tring were very god at Dorking last week and expect them to continue that at home Wimbledon 4-v-1 Westciff Big game for both sides and as I cannot separate them will go with the home side |

Afternoon Rollers! So, another week, another crushing loss for the mighty Cup. Although, I do think the scoreline flatters. 2 points down with all the momentum and 'Millwall Corner' in full voice - I was sure we would take it. Credit to S&E for their resilience, and their ability to clinically take pretty much all of their chances. What to say about S&E? I was mightily impressed. They are definitely not the biggest, fastest, strongest or most skilful in this league. But they are by far the best team i have seen (significantly improved from when we lost to them earlier in the year). They moved the ball well and retained it excellently, clearly playing for each other. I think they will be good to hold onto their spot for the rest of the year... We were improved, but patchy. Fingers crossed that changes this weekend, and right the wrongs of previous trips north of the river.
Bedford Athletic 5 v 2 Dorking - Really close, but very high scoring game on the plastic. Brentwood 4 v 1 Tunbridge Wells - Brentwood impressing of late, RTW needing to find their form CS Stags 1863 5 v 0 Chingford - As above Guildford 5 v 0 Shelford - Gs too strong at home, despite improved signs of life at Shelford Sutton & Epsom 4 v 1 Hertford - S&E to continue their march to Nat2 Tring 0 v 5 Sidcup - Probably the hardest place to play in the wet and cold imo. Here's hoping we continue to improve and play to our potential Wimbledon 1 v 4 Westcliff - A really bruising encounter ahead. I have been impressed with Westcliff, and back them in a fight. Good luck to all, DD

More importantly with Brighton looking strong in London 1, we could be gaining 2 great mini alacadoo tours...

Guernsey would come to SE simply because I believe the authorities treat them as having Gatwick as their home (plus its further east than Sudbury) plus there was a big debate in the summer about how they could facilitate all those SW trips since Aurigny doesn't fly they often.
