Chingford 0-5 Wimbledon
A task too far for Chingford
Dorking 5-1 CS Stags
High scoring game last time around and expect more of the same
Hertford 5-1 Tring
Very similar records so going with the home team
Shelford 0-5 Brentwood
Brentwood will be desperate for 5 points to bridge the gap above them and  I cannot see Shelford stopping them
Sidcup 5-1 Bedford Athletic
Going with the home team
Tunbridge Wells 0-5 Sutton & Epsom
I don't think TW have enough to stop the S&E bandwagon
Westcliff 5-0 Guildford
Westcliff have the most points for and fewest against so expect them to take all 5 on offer here

Chingford 0-5 Wimbledon
Chingford have had some decent results at home, and Wimbledon not looking as strong as they did in the first couple of months... but Wimbledon should win this anyway.
Dorking 5-0 CS Stags 1863
CS Stags playing away for the first time this side of Christmas.  They weren't so good away before Christmas, but Dorking haven't been stunning at home either recently.  Dorking should have enough.
Hertford 4-1 Tring
Match of the week. But it's a coin toss.
Shelford 0-5 Brentwood
Sorry Shelford.  Not this week.
Sidcup 4-1 Bedford Athletic
Sidcup not having a good time of it.  Bedford have surpassed my expectations for the season.  If it was warm and dry I'd call it for Bedford.  I suspect it's going to be heavy and that will better suit Sidcup.
Tunbridge Wells 5-1 Sutton & Epsom
9th vs 1st.  There's only one result, obviously! LOL Sutts are yet to beat TW in this league, but they haven't lost since we were the last team to beat them back in October.
The form book says this Saturday is the day with everything suggesting they are a much improved side.  We'll see.
Westcliff 5-0 Guildford
Westcliff haven't lost at home since 6th October.

It's one of those weeks where I'm not feeling particularly confident on many of those results!

Chingford -v- Wimbledon 0-5  If  Wimbledon are  genuinely  interested in promotion they have to win here. We played above this level for many years : fun at the time but destructive so far as our club  was concerned  taking the long view!
Dorking -v- CS Stags 1863     4-1  A scenic  ground with a very  boggy corner this week I am sure . Horrible crowd!
Hertford -v- Tring    4-1 This is not just rugby : it is probably   the  closest thing  to a hate match you can  ever get at this level!
Shelford -v- Brentwood    0-5  Brentwood must garner these points : I don't see them surviving though.
Sidcup -v- Bedford Athletic    4-1 Tricky this one. BA v impressive at home scoring over  50 v Dorking last time out. Away form pretty lamentable but improving.
Tunbridge Wells -v- Sutton & Epsom    0-5  S & E march on . Perhaps they really do want it after being the bridesmaid for so long.
Westcliff -v- Guildford    5-0 Only one result here and Guildford seem to be  a tad unpopular too. Westcliff may yet  need to carry this league's banner forward!

A week off and I think most teams will be refreshed but which will be game ready

Chingford 0 v 5 Wimbledon - the pitch will be a swamp but Dons should squeeze 4 tries out
Dorking 1 v 4 CS Stags 1863 - HMRC unbeaten in 4 and Dorking not won in 3.
Hertford 4 v 1 Tring - interesting to hear the comments about this rivalry. Home adv to count
Shelford 0 v 5 Brentwood - saw the return game and Shelford started brightly but faded. Wood have plenty to play for.
Sidcup 1 v 4 Bedford Athletic - I have tipped BA to win last 2. I hear they don't travel well but they did win at Chingford whose pitch is the absolute opposite of a 4G speed track. My chancer!
Tunbridge Wells 0 v 5 Sutton & Epsom. Sutts to secure BP to stay ahead of the Dons
Westcliff 5 v 0 Guildford Cliff have only lost to Dons at home. Not a welcoming place in Feb and Gs don't seem equipped to cope.
What was wrong with calling it London 1?

PHILPAEC,

Hertford and Tring rivalry... Same County, very similar clubs with regard to ethos. Every match from under 7 through the club to first team level, year on year are tight affairs and many a young player from both sides has experienced defeat in cup matches and finals,
The senior teams give no quarter either but always end with a beer.

SIMILAR CLUB ETHOS and years of knowing that when Tring Play Hertford, either side will give it all knowing that wwhat its going to take to win.

Gumbo G, hate is a strong word and not appropriate describing the rivalry between Tring and Hertford.
More a deep respect of each others history and ethos, with a good dollop of local pride thrown in!!!
Trash talk from 'the thing from Tring' doesn't help in the build up to these local games.
I just hope that both teams complete the game injury and red card free.

I would like to concur with Storm and AT.

It's a shame the weather forecast will mean a smaller crowd and limited game plans.

Chingford 1-4 WIMBLEDON-Dons need to keep in touch with Sutts and might just nick this.
DORKING 5-1 CS Stags1863- The forecast heavy ground will suit D's better than visitors.
HERTFORD 4-1 Tring- Herts at home will have the firepower in this derby.
Shelford 1-4 BRENTWOOD-Wood to help themselves in the survival race but expect defiance from Shelford.
SIDCUP 5-1 Bedford Athletic- Bedford improving but this will be different than their last houdini act.
Tunbridge Wells 0-5 SUTTON&EPSOM-Just cannot see Sutts giving up their top spot now, and yes they are very much improved and are impressing many.
WESTCLIFF 5-0 Guildford- Cliff to keep Sutts honest and Wimbledon at bay. Easy home win.

The long awaited heavy conditions might yet see some cancellations, and IMO provide some upsets. One team sure to fire with momentum behind them will be Sutts. Can Westcliff keep with them? Good luck to all.

I'm sure it won't change any of the predictions for the fixture, but due to waterlogged pitches at TW, the TWRFC - Sutton & Epsom fixture will now be played on 3G at Bennett Memorial School.

Chingford 1 -v- 5 Wimbledon - A titanic forwards battle
Dorking 0 -v- 4 CS Stags 1863 - Is it to be 4 losses on the spin for Dorking or 5 wins on the spin for Stags - the latter I believe
Hertford 5 -v- 0 Tring - Home side to prevail
Shelford 4 -v- 1 - Brentwood Not much of a contest, home side to edge it
Sidcup 4 -v- 1 - Bedford Athletic could be closer just going with home advantage
Tunbridge Wells 0 -v- 4 - Sutton & Epsom S&E to maintain their form
Westcliff 5 -v- 0 Guildford - Likewise Westcliff to maintain theirs

Westcliff had a couple out today against Guildford meaning today’s squad are all home grown. Looking as though we would go in at half time a few points down, we suddenly created two good scores that meant we turned round 19 - 10 up with the gale of wind to help us in the second half. We were well worth the win in the end although the game wasn’t the greatest to watch. With the referee stopping the game so often to lecture people and reset scrums etc, all flow was lost, and the game eventually boiled over as both sets of players became frustrated with the official. Difficult conditions but a bonus point win and we move on to next week at Brentwood who could be a dangerous wounded animal after todays loss at Shelford.
Great to see Shelford eventually get a win today. Credit to them for not letting their heads drop.

Shelford beat Brentwood this afternoon 19 - 18  Congratulations Shelford.

Two draws this week.  Another one pointer between TW and S&E.  What a close week!

It's looking tight at the foot of the table with, I'd say, 9th and down having some work to do.  Bedford Athletic are looking like they're on a run so I'd be surprised if they're not safe.

There are no guarantees but I do expect TW to dig out of it as well.  They were unlucky this afternoon not to take the win, after another slow start but a strong recovery against S&E.

It's going to be a fascinating run-in.

Many many congratulations to Shelford.

Lots of huff and puff at Hertford today. Terrific defensive effort by Tring.

Fair result in the end. Happy to report nothing but positive vibes from the touchline.

Was at the RTW V Sutton match where the strong wind played a massive part in the game, playing with the wind in the first half Sutton took a 14-0 lead, but at half time it felt like we were a score short.
RTW used the wind effectively in the second half and could well have nicked it at the end with a penalty shot that fell short, not quite sure how RTW are in tenth place, having seen them twice this year they're a much better side then their league position suggests.
Positives for Sutton was that we ground out a win despite being slightly under par, but unfortunately we lost two players to nasty looking injuries.
Congrats to Shelford on their first win of the season.
