The first three fixtures are a coin toss for me. I'm more confident with the lower half. Tring - TWRFC should be a cracking fixture. It's the match of the week for me. Wells have had a couple of better weeks. Tring are a good side, with a very impressive home record. I have absolute respect for them, but I'm looking forward to going up there and watching a very close and competitive match. |

Bedford Athletic 2 -v- 5 Hertford - BA have impressed second half of the season. But Herts are a quality side. Brentwood 1 -v- 4 Westcliff - Westcliff to grind one out Chingford 4 -v- 1 Dorking - I think Chingford may bully their way through this one CS Stags 1863 5 -v- 0 Sidcup - CS on a roll of late, Sidcup on a slide. Sutton & Epsom 5 -v- 0 Shelford - As good as it gets for Shelford last week. Tring 1 -v- 4 Tunbridge Wells - I think Wells may edge it with the team they have out Wimbledon 5 -v- 0 Guildford - A walk in the park for Dons

Extremely disappointing result for the Cup last week - we were abject in the first half, before much like a number of our recent games rallying, but just falling short. Make no mistake we need to start winning again!!! But i have full faith in the boys. Very surprised by the Wimbledon result, what an achievement for Westcliff and S&E if they pull this off!!
Bedford Athletic 2-5 Hertford - High scoring affair, favouring the experienced herts side.
Brentwood 0-5 Westcliff - Bruising Essex derby with both teams allot play for. Westcliff to keep their promo dreams alive Chingford 1-4 Dorking - Great result for Chingford at the weekend, does anyone care to elaborate on the game? The men with Huckleberrys on their breasts to win this one though. CS Stags 0-5 Sidcup - South West London to be treated to show of spectacular skill, guile and razzmatazz from the men in white Sutton & Epsom 5-0 Shelford - Fair play (and thank you!) to Shelford on recording their first win last week, S&E wont slip up at home though Tring 4-1 Tunbridge Wells - Home advantage in another close, tight, and physical affair Wimbledon 5-0 Guildford - Wimbledon need to stop dropping points if they want to bounce back. Best, DD |

I can see why they would filter co cks as while it has its correct usage as an alternate term for rooster, I can see why it might be misused for smutty purposes.

Bedford Athletic 1 -v- 5 Hertford - Bedford to avoid the drop but Hertford backs will look good on the fast surface. Brentwood 0 -v- 5 Westcliff - Westcliff to be Essex top dag Chingford 1 -v- 5 Dorking - Both arrive on back of impressive results last week but dry conditions favour the Huckleberrys CS Stags 1863 5 -v- 0 Sidcup - CS playing well despite getting outdone up front last week backs are class. Sutton & Epsom 5 -v- 0 Shelford - It would be nice if we were all wrong but i don't think so Tring 4 -v- 1 Tunbridge Wells - Close but Tring don't lose at home often Wimbledon 5 -v- 0 Guildford - Dons need this more

Bedford Athletic 0-5 Hertford Bedford have an appalling points against stat and Hertford need the 5 points so as not to drop further behind the leaders Brentwood 1-4 WestcliffI don't think Westcliff will get this all their own way Chingford 1-5 DorkingHoping Chingford aren't on as good form as last weeks surprise result suggests ![]() Civil Service 5-0 Sidcup CS to keep edging towards mid table safety while Sidcup will be getting nervous Sutton & Epsom 5-0 Shelford Sutton to roll over Shelford Tring 5-0 Tunbridge Wells Should be a comfortable home win Wimbledon 5-0 Guildford I think Wimbledon will be hungrier

BEDFORD ATHLETIC 5-2 Hertford- Ath to continue their good resurgence on superfast surface. If they perform like they did against Dorking their survival in this league looks re-assured
Brentwood 1-5 WESTCLIFF- Big derby game with much at stake for both sides. I just expect Cliff to have the edge in their title push. Chingford 1-5 DORKING- Visitors are exasperating and can offer mediocrity or brilliance in their play. Last week showed their true value and I hope D's bring this to the table this week. CS STAGS 1863 5-0 Sidcup- Stags to regain their winning thread at home. Comfortable. SUTTON & EPSOM 5-0 Shelford- Shelford unlikely to stop the Sutts rollercoaster. A step closer. TRING 5-0 Tunbridge Wells- Tring to boost their league position and break any stubborn resistance RTW may provide. WIMBLEDON 5-0 Guildford- After a run of poor results Guildford steadied the ship a little with a couple of W's, but Dons will not want to lose touch with the leaders. I was going to call a draw for the Brentwood v Westcliff game but relented for a Cliff win. Not much to choose between this game and the Bedford v Hertford game for MOTD. Both look special. Looking like Champions and runners up will be decided on final matchday. Good luck to all. |

Today was a reminder of why Tring have such a strong home record. No superstars, just a really solid team performance and a deserved win. Fair play. 12-10 at half time but Tring came out and played with grit and determination from the whistle in the second half and we didn't get into our stride.

Big result for Westcliff. It was no secret that we had about 30 away on a stag do and thank you to Brentwood for postponing the 2nd team fixture as I’m not sure we would have been able to field 15 players. It is great to see the strength in depth and people stepping up and not looking out of place at all. Last week we fielded 18 players who had come through the youth team.
Very proud of the Club and the players. 2 huge games to come after a weeks rest. Can we nick 2nd? With Wimbledon having a tough last 3 the pressure is on not to drop any points in the upcoming games. |

LOOKING LIKE CHAMPIONS AND RUNNERS UP WILL BE SETTLED ON FINAL MATCHDAY.- WHAT DO YOU THINK?
THIS IS THE RUN IN: Sutton & Epsom Wimbledon Westcliff 2.3 Westcliff (A) Dorking (A) Sutton & Epsom (H) 9.3 Guildford (H) Brentwood (H) Tring (A) 23.3 Brentwood (A) Sidcup (A) Bedford Ath (H) 30.3 Wimbledon (A) Sutton & Epsom (H) CS Stags (A) 6.4 Tring (H) Hertford (A) Chingford (H) 13.4 Bedford Ath (A) Tring (A) Dorking (A) With Sutts 4 points clear of both Wimbledon and Westcliff W/L BP's will be critical and only adds to the mathematical conundrum. We could finish with all 3 teams on the same points, however from a quick glance and early prediction I just give Westcliff the vote for the top spot. The impressive resurgence of Bedford Athletic could have a major say on the outcome. All views welcome.

Sutton's run-in looks toughest with away games at Wimbledon and Westcliff. You feel they need to nick a win at one of those to secure the title.
My predictions on season ending Points Sutton & Epsom Wimbledon Westcliff 2.3 Westcliff (A) 1 Dorking (A) 5 Sutton & Epsom (H) 4 9.3 Guildford (H) 5 Brentwood (H) 5 Tring (A) 2 23.3 Brentwood (A) 5 Sidcup (A) 4 Bedford Ath (H) 4 30.3 Wimbledon (A) 4 Sutton & Epsom (H) 1 CS Stags (A) 5 6.4 Tring (H) 4 Hertford (A) 4 Chingford (H)5 13.4 Bedford Ath (A) 4 Tring (A) 1 Dorking (A) 4 Total 103 points 96 points 100 points |

@Philipaec - you're probably correct in saying that S&E have the toughest run-in, also looks like Tring RFC may well be the club that decides who ends up 1,2 or 3....
I still think the Dons will turn over both S&E and Tring on the day.....imho - if S&E want to win the league they need to beat Westcliff, as they can afford to lose 1 game but losing this Sunday will put a lot of pressure on them..... |
