I watched the Hertford v Dorking game on Saturday, a really good crowd, including plenty from Dorking watched an entertaining game. For the first 25 minutes Hertford didn't have the ball but Dorking couldn't convert their possession into points and once Hertford scored their first Try, the floodgates opened.
Many congratulations to Thames Estuary Man, Cannon & Dangerous Dave, top scoring this week with 22 points.

Bedford Athletic  5 v 0 Guildford. Guildford safe and relaxed, Bedford to take advantage on the plastic.
Chingford 4 v 1 Shelford. Both teams down so just pride at stake, Chingford to nick it.
CS Stags 1863 5 v 1 Westcliff. Stags have found their feet and could cause an upset here.
Dorking 4 v 1 Tunbridge Wells. Both teams unpredictable, but Dorking to finish the season well.
Sidcup 4 v 1 Hertford. Sidcup on a high after beating the Dons will be up for this one.
Tring 5 v 0  Brentwood. Tring still a very good side and will win this comfortably.
Wimbledon 2 v 5  Sutton & Epsom. Very excited for this one, S&E hopefully with a few more returning from the physio hut to nick this high scoring affair.

Bedford Athletic -v- Guildford 5-0 BA are a good side and Guildford have somehow survived again!
Chingford -v- Shelford 5-0 If you are going to take level 5 seriously then you have to train twice a week. I hope Shelford bounce back quickly.
CS Stags 1863 -v- Westcliff 1-4 With players back this weekend I see Westcliff pushing for second place.
Dorking -v- Tunbridge Wells 1-4 TW have under performed for a paying side and will want to finish the season well.
Sidcup -v- Hertford 4-1 Dogged Cup to graft another win.
Tring -v- Brentwood 5-0 Tring very strong at home.
Wimbledon -v- Sutton & Epsom 1-4 Dons will not be overly concerned about losing last week as Westcliff failed to get 5 points, but I am backing S&E to win as more of a complete side.

Thoroughly enjoyable game at Hertford last weekend, though Dorking must have been scratching their heads how they lost so heavily when they had so much ball. Particularly in the first 20 minutes or so but Hertfords goal line defence is one of the best in the league and Dorking didn't possess the wit to get through/round/over it.

Bedford Athletic -v- Guildford     5-0     Comfortable for Bedford.
Chingford -v- Shelford                  5-2    Too late but Chingford to take all 5.
CS Stags 1863 -v- Westcliff         0-5      If Westcliff are tuned in, not sure CS get anywhere close.
Dorking -v- Tunbridge Wells        5-0     Dorking did a lot of good stuff last week. TW too up and down to back.
Sidcup -v- Hertford                       2-5    Millwall away at Leeds, a fixture no self-respecting fan would miss, therefore a quiet afternoon in Sidcup and Hertford to keep chasing down Tring.
Tring -v- Brentwood                     5-0     Not even close, I'd go for a 25-30 point win.
Wimbledon -v- Sutton & Epsom    3-3    Really don't know. Wimbledon very up and down but at home. S&E consistent but away.

BEDFORD ATHLETIC 5-0 Guildford - Ath will open G's defence on their super fast AW surface. Avery much improved team.
CHINGFORD 5-0 Shelford - Too little too late for Chingford but they will be too strong for visitors.
CS STAGS 4-1 Westcliff - Lively Stags to dent Cliffs play off hopes. Showing good consistent form at home.
DORKING 5-0 Tunbridge Wells - D's to reverse recent run of defeats as they have played much better against arguably better sides and will want to finish on a roll. Twells indifferent.
SIDCUP 4-1 Hertford- Cup have secured their place and are playing their best rugby at the seasons end.
TRING 5-0 Brentwood - Tring to finish strongly in 4th and close the gap but no cigar. Wood have pride  to salvage.
WIMBLEDON 5-2 Sutton & Epsom - MOTD. Nail biting contest could go either way. Dons at home will need to be at their very best, but I expect them to just hold out in high scoring game.

Good luck to all sides as the season enters the final furlong.

No. Not at all.

President, Roger Clarke is a Clubman through and through. I know he has increasing responsibilities with the RFU. I couldn't tell you precisely why he's stepping away but it's certainly not an issue at the Club. John Crees has been Chairman for the last few seasons. It's a demanding job and he has work commitments which mean he needs to focus elsewhere. He'll still be around the Club. We haven't had a permanent DOR since before Christmas when Mike Whatman stepped away to focus on work. I believe Alex Nicholson has been doing it for the last few months. He has a young family. I don't know if he'll be up for doing it on a long term basis, but it would be formalised at the end of the season if he was.

Certainly no sinking ship. The mood around the club is relaxed and set on finishing the season strongly.

Good to hear Bruce - I am pleased that we have another year of derby games, looks like there could be quite a Kentish presence next season, which I am certainly looking forward to. Fantastic game a the Farm last weekend, glad that we managed to contribute to keeping things spicy at the top end of the table, we're certainly on a roll, if only we could replicate this form throughout the year...

Bedford Athletic 5-1 Guildford - High scoring thriller
Chingford 5-0 Shelford - I am sure we will see both Chingford and Brentwood back in this league sooner rather than later, Chingford to finish with a  flourish.
CS Stags 1-4 Westcliff - Westcliff with a sniff of promo to fight tooth and nail
Dorking 5-0 Tunbridge Wells - Dorking to raise many a smile around the Big Field
Sidcup 5-0 Hertford - The Hertford Ultras to be silenced on the beach
Tring 5-0 Brentwood - Feel like Tring could run the score up here
Wimbledon 1-4 Sutton & Epsom - What a massive game ahead, S&E imo are a better all round team and will have the away support to see them through in this nail biter

Best,
DD

Bedford Ath -  Guildford       2-5  Bedford deflated perhaps and  Guildford elated
Chingford - Shelford            5-0  Chingford  to  stay proud and to take this one.
CS Stags - Westcliff              4-1  The bureacrats  to make life difficult for the promotion seekers.
Dorking Tunbridge Wells       4-0  One for the coqs
Sidcup -  Hertford                4-1 If Hertford have "ultras"  what do Sidcup   have? Not  moderates surely?
Tring  - Brentwood                5-0  The day's banker.
Wimbledon -  S&E                 1-4  The better side to prevail, even though it's away.
