Watched a cracking game at Brentwood on Saturday, impressed with Dorking organization and counter attacking. Couple of mistakes at crucial times cost Brentwood dear but they looked dangerous off set piece ball. Could/should(?) have won to be honest. Was the D's 6 the JP Alberts with South Africa Currie Cup experience?

Bedford Athletic 4 v 1 CS Stags 1863 Going with home experience

Chingford 1 v 4 Tring Didn't see Chingford win last week
Dorking 4 v 1 Sutton & Epsom Impressed with Dorking
Hertford 4 v 1 Guildford Should be a good game
Shelford  0 v 5 Wimbledon Shelford struggling
Sidcup 1 v 4 Brentwood Got to go with Brentwood
Tunbridge Wells 4 v 1 Westcliff  Tough, tough game

Bedford Athletic -v- CS Stags 1863 4 - 0 Don't see CS dealing with the trip well

Chingford -v- Tring 0 - 5 Tring one of the strongest and most experienced in the league... in particular their bald tighthead off the bench bringing the league average age up by at least 10.

Dorking -v- Sutton & Epsom 0 - 5 S&E to walk all over Dorking despite the best efforts of the home linesman

Hertford -v- Guildford 4 - 2 Guildford get bonus points not wins

Shelford -v- Wimbledon 0 - 5 Easy pick... squeaky bum time for Shelford already

Sidcup -v- Brentwood 5 - 0 Home record to be evened up by a dogged side

Tunbridge Wells -v- Westcliff 2 - 4 Game of the weekend... Westcliff to maintain strong start and nick it down the slope.

Not sure on your idea of a local derby Truwblue but it's always nice to beat someone from the smelly side of the Thames!

More tough ones this week. I think our favorite cliche "no easy games" is already getting worn out!

Bedford Athletic 4 -v- 1 CS Stags 1863 - A close game but I'm going with the home/plastic advantage.

Chingford 4 - v- 1 Tring - Tring on paper but Chingford are impressing and at home so I'm pipping them.

Dorking 4 -v- 1 Sutton & Epsom - Home advantage and a Dorking side starting strong.

Hertford 5 -v- 0 Guildford - Hertford to make amends for last week and take it out on the improved Guildford.

Shelford 0 -v- 5 Wimbledon - Shelford are tough at home and have nothing to lose. But Dons to rumble on.

Sidcup 5 -v- 1 Brentwood - Sidcup too much at home for the visitors but will keep on their coat tails.

Tunbridge Wells 5 -v- 2 Westcliff - Has the potential to go either way! Wells still not at full strength but at home. Westcliff bang on form.

BEDFORD ATHLETIC 5-1 CS Stags 1863- According to comments BA are decent outfit. Home adv.
Chingford 0-5 TRING- Visitors to dish out a N3 experience and continue where left off.
DORKING 5-1 Sutton&Epsom- Difficult to know what happened last week to S&E. D's started well.
Hertford 1-4 GUILDFORD- I sense an issue and Herts not as strong as last year. G's are improving.
Shelford 0-5 WIMBLEDON- Surely no surprises here. Who will be the first to lower Dons colours.
SIDCUP 4-1 Brentwood- Wood have some big units and will be no pushover. Close call.
TUNBRIDGE WELLS 4-0 Westcliff- MOTD and really could not predict this. Battle of defences. Home call.

The promoted teams seem decent and certainly add strength to this league, making it more difficult to predict. The fight to avoid relegation will be much harder. A lot can change as strength in depth will enter equasions as the season progresses. I think the winners in this league will be teams finishing between 5th and 9th. !! Good luck to all.

Fez, what do you mean the winners will finish between 5th and 9th? Surely that’s an oxymoron!

I do wonder what’s happened to Hertford though. I’ve been looking at teamsheets and doesn’t look like many changes to last year other than Sean Taylor in the backs. Can anyone expand?

Afraid our Nat 1 neighbours came calling again....Stortford rather than Albanians this time, which having had many battles in the distant past against both irritates somewhat. But at 1st team these days the cheque book speaks louder than old gits like me who regard certain clubs with a jaundiced eye (think man utd. v man city, hazelnutnal v spurs, England v Scotland etc etc).

Plus one went into coaching which is ok by me.

All means that even for a large club like Hertford it will take time for new faces and formations to bed in, to discover that step from 2nd to 1st team is too much for some, etc etc.

(I reply purely as someone that watches the matches, rather than in any official capacity).

Bedford Ath 5-0 CS Stags - Bedford to take form and get up and running with convincing win
Chingford 4-2 Tring - A tough game to call with a strong looking Tring side looking to bring it to Chingford
Dorking 5-1 Sutton & Epsom - A rival Alacadoo to be the difference in this game with some humble truth telling to the S&E boys ( look out for his blazer )
Hertford 4-2 Guildford - close game just favouring the home advantage
Shelford 1-5 Wimbledon - Cant see the result going any other way however this league is full of suprises Wink
Sidcup 5-0 Brentwood - We're looking strong and can't see us leaking easy points like last week
Tunbridge Wells 2-5 Westcliff - Tough call fancy Westcliff for the win but TW to bring the fight
