Dorking -v- Chingford- 5-0 Dorking strong at Home
Guildford -v- Wimbledon 0-5 - Dons forwards to give Guildford a torrid time
Hertford -v- Bedford Athletic - 5-0 Despites last weeks encouraging result for Bedford Hertford too strong at home and slightly unlucky last week. Does any know how long the player showed a Red card got ?
Shelford -v- Sutton & Epsom- 4-1  Just have a feeling that Shelford will break their duck
Sidcup -v- CS Stags 1863 - 5-1 Tough one as CS very good attacking side if they did not treat tackling as optional it would be the other way round
Tunbridge Wells -v- Tring - 5-0 - TW's on the up Tring been fortunate recently win tight results, Not this time?
Westcliff -v- Brentwood - 5-0 Very tempted to back Brentwood for this one

Dorking 5-0 Chingford Based on results and limited knowledge, look forward to our boys against Chingford next week
Guildford 0-5 Wimbledon to continue their impressive run
Hertford 5 - 2 Bedford Athletic Bedford to get a few more points on the board after last week
Shelford 2 - 4Sutton & Epsom no idea here if I'm honest
Sidcup 5 - 0 CS Stags Hopefully we can fix a few wrongs from last week giving the game away - Shall see how the "raucous support" fairs
Tunbridge Wells 5 - 1 Tring TW'S to go on a run
Westcliff 2-4 Brentwood Going with Westcliff but Brentwood got some good momentum at the moment

DORKING 5-0 Chingford- Have not seen Chingford so give them respect, but last two results have inspired D's and at home can be very strong. Need to build a run of W's.
Guildford 0-5 WIMBLEDON- Visitors to impress which makes sole home defeat even more of a mystery. G's need to bounce back but not this week.
HERTFORD 5-1 Bedford Athletic- Hertford weakened after last weeks RC and I suspect Ath have a few players back. A close game on the cards.
SHELFORD 4-1 Sutton & Epsom- I have a feeling Shelford played better at Brentwood and can cause an upset here. They must do something and soon.
Sidcup 2-5 CS STAGS 1863- Cup may have a problem with Stags backs. Going for an away win.
TUNBRIDGE WELLS 5-1 Tring- Twells may have turned the corner after a good win last week. I suspect that Tring are not as strong as they were last year.
WESTCLIFF 5-1 Brentwood- Wood are definately fitting in well but Cliff will not want to slip up on this local derby and I expect a convincing win.

With cold and wet conditions forecast I still expect the ground to be fast. Might lead to some unwelcome handling errors. Lets hope for rugby in its true spirit. Good luck to all.

"cold and wet conditions forecast"

Would be nice to see a game in the dry for a change!

A very disappointing trip on my first visit to Bedford. Felt like a game Cup threw away as opposed to one which 'Ath' won. Fair play to them though, they play with ambition and verve, pouncing on our mistakes very clinically. The pitch didn't seem to claim as many grazes as Shelford, however, a number of players from both team seemed to suffer from cramp, would be interested to hear other posters experiences of watching games played on plastic.

Dorking 5-1 Chingford - Dorking to enjoy a gallop on the big field
Guildford 1-5 Wimbledon -  The wobbles are back in full flow
Hertford 5-1 Bedford Athletic - I always fancy Hertford when in front of the terrace
Shelford 0-5 Sutton & Epsom - S&E backline to enjoy the plastic
Sidcup 5-0 CS Stags 1863 - Fingers crossed we resemble more then team that beat Tring
Tunbridge Wells 2-4 Tring - Tring to edge a thriller - any more news on the bust up with the supporters last week? I am all for raucous support but the incident sounds most unsavoury
Westcliff 5-0 Brentwood - Westcliff to prove they're the best side in Essex

Best,
DD

Met Seasider last week watching Brentwood v Shelford. Brentwood organised and good on counter-attack, Shelford lacked a bit of punch up front.

Dorking -v- Chingford 5-0 Dorking to show class at home
Guildford -v- Wimbledon 1-4 Wimbledon seem to have got over the CS shock
Hertford -v- Bedford Athletic 4-1 Close game but Hertford to edge at home
Shelford -v- Sutton & Epsom 1-4 S&E to show their class
Sidcup -v- CS Stags 1863 4-1 Cup been on wrong side of a few narrow games but reckon they will be ok
Tunbridge Wells -v- Tring 1-4 TW won only 1 from 4 at home and Tring seem to be ok on road
Westcliff -v- Brentwood 4-1 Heart says B but head say W. Happy to be wrong
What was wrong with calling it London 1?

My own club's ambitions took a bit of a dent last week. It's not easy down here.

Dorking  -v- Chingford            4-1   Dorking's narrow win last week should give then confidence and I  may have been a little hasty in suggesting  they  could  be in the relegation mix! Close though.

Guildford -v- Wimbledon          0-5   Bonus point or not?

Hertford -v- Bedford Athletic   4-1   It's just like old times with Hertford seeing  the league's presumably first  red for some Marquess of Queensberry stuff. No knock out against improving Bedford but a narrow win on points.
Shelford -v- Sutton & Epsom     0-5  Only one winner

Sidcup -v- CS Stags 1863          4-1 Was it just a Cup blip last week? When  piano shifters play piano tuners, especially with home advantage, the lifters usually win.

Tunbridge  Wells -v- Tring         1-4 Tring  have the edge here methinks.

Westcliff -v- Brentwood             5-0  I am mightily impressed at the way Westcliff are going and at their home grown talent and my reference to their having " no money" was not meant to be taken too literally. They will have enough to buy a few jugs I am sure!

Dorking -v- Chingford 4-1 Difficult having seen both recently, I'm going with home advantage.
Guildford -v- Wimbledon 0-4, If Guildford can turn it into a backs contest they could take the spoils, it not being a Dons strength from what I have witnessed, but I haven't seen G's play, but that is a big if.
Hertford -v- Bedford Athletic 1-4 I When visiting Bedford I found the place and their supporters to be very agreeable indeed and I would like them to win.
Shelford -v- Sutton & Epsom 4-1 S & E should win but I can see a potential slip up this week
Sidcup -v- CS Stags 1863 2-4 CS to go  (for various reasons) like they did when beating Dons, a coup le of weeks back.
Tunbridge Wells -v- Tring 1-4 I cant think of a reason to back Tring over TW just a sixth sense
Westcliff -v- Brentwood 1-4 A really difficult one to call, and I think OB are underrated esp at home.

Dorking 4 - 1 Chingford - experience will tell
Guildford 0-5 Wimbledon - Guildford lack ideas or any real standouts in the backs and that’s the only way to get past a huge Dons pack.
Hertford 4-1 Bedford Athletic - who knows what team Hertford really are. I still think they’ll finish in the top half. Bedford won’t.
Shelford 0-5 Sutton & Epsom - not sure if the Shelford pack will ever allow the backs a chance this season. Can’t pick them yet!
Sidcup 1-4 CS Stags - great mid table clash. Could go either way. I take CS form over Sidcup home advantage. Sidcup skipping down there.
Tunbridge Wells 2-2 Tring - not sure about either of these teams and Tring like a close game so score draw!
Westcliff 1-4 Brentwood - Brentwood are battle tested and will enjoy a derby day. Sounds like Westcliff have a few key injuries.

Another week, another set of interesting results to use for guessing at this week's results....basically...anything can happen!

Dorking 4-v-1 Chingford - Feel a close one hear but going with the home advantage.

Guildford 0-v-5 Wimbledon - G's are odd. Both time I've watched them I haven't been impressed at all, but they have sneaked out a win each time so they must be doing something right. Not this week though. Wimbledon to go wombling on.

Hertford 5-v-1 Bedford Athletic - What a result for Bedford last week but I feel that it was a "blip" from Cup. I feel they will win a few games this year, but not this week. Hertford seemed to have turned a corner maybe?

Shelford 4-v-1 Sutton & Epsom - S&E were well beaten in every department last week by Wells. Shelford fighting for their lives. I'm going for a home win as the surprise of the day! (Sorry Shelford, I've basically just given you the kiss of death, watch them now lose by 50!)

Sidcup 4-v-1 CS Stags 1863 - Cup at home will get their rumble on but the Stags backs may have something to say about the result. Will be close.

Tunbridge Wells 5-v-2 Tring - Wells seemed to be getting back to full strength and Tring aren't as strong as last year. I predict an entertaining game with plenty of points.

Westcliff 5-v-0 Brentwood - Wasn't impressed with Brentwood when I saw them and Westcliff on a roll so a comfortable home win I feel.

From what I saw of Shelford's plastic, I didn't think it affected the game in terms of play however I did notice more injury breaks and a lot more stoppages for contact lenses (which I attributed to the rubber chippings which fly up getting in the area). I guess that when you just put a bed of rubber chips onto, what is for all intents and purposes, concrete then you will have more injuries.

But it's things like that that makes me hope that my club never get a plastic pitch.

Hertford v Bedford, a high scoring game! Bedford were fine with ball in hand, a couple of elusive backs, but were less settled in defence.
Our red card from Tring will have a discipline hearing this week. I wonder if the Tring supporter that punched him will be called as a witness?
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe,
Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion,
I've watched C beams glitter in the darkness near the Tennhauser Gate,

Sidcup were very impressive against CS Stags. Totally dominated the scrum and their backs performed. Cup had a young winger making his debut who certainly has some gas and scored an outstanding try! Credit to CS Stags for never giving up and they scored the last try of the game.
