I went to watch the Wimbledon v Hertford game on Saturday, Hertford’s Achilles heal at the lineout gifted Wimbledon their 2 Try’s, Hertford can thank the Referee for their first Try.
I will update the league table later this week.
Please make your predictions below, it is local derby week.

Week 14
Brentwood -v- Chingford
Guildford -v- Dorking
Shelford -v- Hertford
Sutton & Epsom -v- CS Stags 1863
Tring -v- Bedford Athletic

Well what a weekend, some results that I didn't see coming!
Brentwood 4v1 Chingford. Only because Brentwood know how to use the slop.
Guildford 0v4 Dorking. Dorking to push Guildford in to the bottom half of the table.
Shelford 0v5 Hertford. Shelford looking all but a London1 north team.
Sutton & Epsom 5v1 CS Stags 1863. S&E to keep the winning run going.
Tring 4v1Bedford Athletic. Tring will be to strong at home, but Ath to push them close
Westcliff 1v4 Sidcup. Cup to keep the winning run going
Wimbledon 5v0 Tunbridge Wells. Wells not looking as good as last year.

Brentwood -v- Chingford 1-4 I am going to back Chingford after their impressive win last Sat.
Guildford -v- Dorking 0-5 Guildford are going to be in the bottom 2 very soon.
Shelford -v- Hertford 0-5 Potential cricket score.
Sutton & Epsom -v- CS Stags 1863 5-0 S&E have come into some good form.
Tring -v- Bedford Athletic 5-0 Tring will be hurting after last weeks loss and record gone.
Westcliff -v- Sidcup 0-5 Sidcup have a surprise in the pack!
Wimbledon -v- Tunbridge Wells 4-1 I think this could be a close game as TW are starting to play better.

[QUOTE=TinyTim] Well what a weekend, some results that I didn't see coming!

I didn't see anything coming, as it was raining so hard you couldn't see out the Clubhouse windows at Dorking.

That said, Dorking scored some length of the field tries in truly appalling 2nd half conditions!

Rugby70 - your comments towards Guildford are starting to become a little bit tedious now. You find yourselves sat below Guildford yet week after week you sling mud towards the team. Give it a rest and this forum could perhaps become somewhere where genuine & unbiased views can be shared.

Being the difficult league it is, teams should be encouraged to prosper, and the downfall of others is something that should not be encouraged in such a negative way.

Brentwood 4-1 Chingford Chings record against they’re arch rivals isn’t good and I don’t see it improving this week.
Guildford 1-4 Dorking Guildfords luck has run its course for 2018.
Shelford 0-5 Hertford Cricket score indeed.
S&E 5-1 CS Sutts to keep the wagon rolling into the New Year.
Tring 5-0 Bedford Ath Tring backlash coming perhaps
Westcliff 0-4 Sidcup I have seen Westcliff twice now and don’t see what the fuss is about. Too soft up front.
Wimbledon 5-0 Tunbridge Wells Dons to finish 2018 strong

My comment about Guildford is based on the fact I don't see them winning a game until 26th January, nothing to do with the tit for tat with GuildfordBlue.

Brentwood 4 v 1 Chingford. Could go either way, gone for home advantage.
Guildford 1 v 5 Dorking. Dorking hitting a good run of form while Guildford are doing the opposite.
Shelford 0 v 5 Hertford. Hertford to celebrate in style.
Sutton & Epsom 5 v 0 CS Stags 1863. Sutton to enjoy the space out wide and their defence to keep the Stags from securing a bonus point.
Tring 5 v 0 Bedford Athletic. Tring won't lose two at home on the trot.
Westcliff 4 v 1 Sidcup. Another hard to call result, but think Westcliff will be smarting after last week.
Wimbledon 4 v 1Tunbridge Wells. Boring Wimbledon to grind out another win with a couple of scrum penalty tries.

Brentwood 5-1 Chingford ; home advantage to tell in Essex derby
Guildford 5-1 Dorking ; Dorking maddeningly inconsistent and word on the street is that Wardy read the riot act to his mob after last weeks thumping at CS.
Shelford 0-5 Hertford ; whither Shelford
Sutton & Epsom 5-0 CS Stags ; wont be one way traffic but S&E this seasons surprise outfit
Tring 1-4 Bedford Athletic ; shock of the day - Bedford one of the form teams currently and Tring slipping away
Westcliff 1-4 Sidcup - did hitting the top make Cliff giddy? Cup to edge a forwards battle
Wimbledon 5-0 Tunbridge Wells ; Dons to consolidate top spot

I am not sure this is a very strong division this season - no outstanding team and most sides capable of beating one another on their day. Whoever gets promoted will have to strengthen considerably to have any chance of staying there.

BRENTWOOD 4-1 Chingford- Both teams on a par this season and last. Wood with home advantage should tip the odds their way, however Chingford are resiliant and this game could well be a close affair.
Guildford 1-4 DORKING- Honours even over the last two seasons in this hotly contested derby.I expect another dour battle and with D's form not better than G's, the game is difficult to call. Dorking just.
Shelford 0-5 HERTFORD- Come on Shelford dont leave it too late!!....but I fear not.Ouch
SUTTON & EPSOM 5-0 CS Stags 1863- Sutts consolidate their top 2 position and the roll continues.
TRING 4-0 Bedford Athletic- Tring to re-start their unbeaten home record, but will not get an easy ride as Ath have showed in recent weeks they are determined. Lets hope their players travel for this away game.
WESTCLIFF 4-1 Sidcup- Another battle royale, but expect Cliff to pick up the thread at home.
WIMBLEDON 5-0 Tunbridge Wells- Despite Dons showing recent weaknesses they remain top on merit and I just cant see Twells getting much from this game.

The usual fixtures appear which will likely spoil the predictions for many. This league will be defined by TBP and LBP come April and interesting to see some startling facts on perusing the league table. Guildford in 6th with 9BP but -58 in points scored, and S&E in 2nd position with only +39 points difference and 7BP. Very little between last seasons promoted sides. good luck to all.

Brentwood -v- Chingford 4-1 a tight affair putting the big runners of Essex against one another
Guildford -v- Dorking 1-5 A high scoring affair and Guildford to grab another LBP
Shelford -v- Hertford 0-5 Shelford asking for a time machine for xmas to skip to May
Sutton & Epsom -v- CS Stags 1863 5-0 SE to put themselves in a great position at the turn of the year
Tring -v- Bedford Athletic 5-0 Tring won't lose at home in the last game of 2018
Westcliff -v- Sidcup 1-4 a nip and tuck battle but Sidcup may just have the edge
Wimbledon -v- Tunbridge Wells 5-0 The Dons pack too heavy for T wells who are struggling to find consistency.

Without trying to offend any Guildford fans my Surrey power rankings are as below (DD I'm only including Surrey clubs in this league... if they become stale towards the back end of the season I may open it to surrounding leagues.)

Wombles (holding firm at the summit of the table)
S&E (If T wells get an upset this weekend I feel 1 and 2 may swap based on recent form!)
Dorking (Big game for 3&4 this weekend which may offer Guildford the chance to get off rock bottom of my rankings)
Guildford

Brentwood -v- Chingford     4-1      Weather to keep it closer than it should be.
Guildford -v- Dorking           1-4       Will the real Dorking please stand up?
Shelford -v- Hertford            0-5       Not expecting any upsets....famous last words!
Sutton & Epsom -v- CS Stags 1863   5-0   Have to go with the form book, league position, etc etc
Tring -v- Bedford Athletic      5-0      No trouble for Tring
Westcliff -v- Sidcup               5-2     Cuuuuup's losing streak to continue.
Wimbledon -v- Tunbridge Wells   5-0   TW back to dancing with the relegation dogfight.

Expect half will be as wrong as last weeks, with at least 3 matches I wouldn't be surprised if they went the other way.

Happy Christmas all, see you in the New Year.
