Another annoying "consolidating" loss for Combe  and against a Kentish club  to boot!  Ouch!

Brentwood -v- Chingford   1-4  Chingford would seem to be the form side  of  the two currently and right on the money!
Guildford -v- Dorking         4-1 Guildford will be smarting  and are my favourites  in  this ( strictly amateur of course )  stockbroker belt derby.
Shelford -v- Hertford         0-5   This  bout   should be stopped early to save Shelford   further   punishment!
Sutton & Epsom -v- CS Stags 1863   1-4  There's  at least one result  every week in this league  that you really don't expect . It could be this one.
Tring -v- Bedford Athletic    4-0  Tring  won't lose two on the bounce at home will they?
Westcliff -v- Sidcup             1-4  Dangerous Dave to enjoy his day, the balcony, the bitter and  the banter.
Wimbledon -v- Tunbridge Wells  5-0   Not pretty.

I think playing at home will have a big impact this week (more so than usual). Last game before Christmas, big festive pre-match dinners, home sides wanting to put on a show.

Brentwood 4-v-1 Chingford - The surprise result of last week was Ching beating Westcliff. Guess we will find out if that was catching WC on a bad day or Ching being good. Anyway, out of these two I think Brentwood look the better side so going for them at home.

Guildford 4-v-1 Dorking - I think Dorking look the better of the two sides but Guildford fancy themselves at home. So going for a home win, but could go either way.

Shelford 0-v-5 Hertford - I think Shelford will pick up a win, maybe two this season but I don't think this weekend will be it.

Sutton & Epsom 5-v-2 CS Stags 1863 - I've seen S&E play twice. And lose twice. Badly. So of course they are second now. I was also impressed by Stags when I saw them so I think this could be a cracker. Going for a home win and with the form book.

Tring 4-v-1 Bedford Athletic - A few weeks back, this was a no brainer but not so much now. I'm still backing a home win but not as much as perhaps some may think.

Westcliff 4-v-1 Sidcup - WC fallen off the pace they set at the start of the season, but I think they'll have too much for a resilient CUUUUPPP.

Wimbledon 5-v-1 Tunbridge Wells - Which TW will turn up? Who knows. Dons not the all conquering force that some predicted. I don't think this will be the whitewash that some predict, especially with an addition in the pack for TW this week (not that one man makes a team). But I'm going for a HW.

Brentwood 4 v Chingford 1, hope the wind and slope are not playing the same way today.
G's 1 v Dorking 4, not sure if G's injuty woes have improved
Shelford 0 v Hertford 5, could be a big score
SandE 4 v Brexiteers 1, SandE very well organised defensively
Tring 4 v Beford 0, got a feeling Bedford away boys might turn up for this relatively local fixture
Westcliff 4 v Sidcup 1, Westcliff to bounce back
Wombles 5 v TW/RTW 0,

MERRY XMAS TO ALL

Well, Dangerous Dave, hope you enjoyed the bitter but the balcony and the banter may have stuck in your craw.
Despite having 3 Blackheath guests, did you really think you were good enough?
And finishing top 2? I think not with that side!

Fair play to Dave. I don't recall him making predictions about final positions or being anything less than friendly and positive in any of his posts in this forum.

There are probably better targets for this sort of snark.

Merry Christmas! 😉

Bruce, you're right. It was more a response to another contributors post. I hope DD (and all of Sidcup) got home safely on a foul night to travel.
Good luck to all for the rest of the season and Merry Christmas.
