Chingford -v- CS Stags 1863 1-4 CS to keep momentum from amazing result last week.
Dorking -v- Bedford Athletic 4-1 Cant see where Bedford are going to pick up their first win.
Hertford -v- Sutton & Epsom 1-4 S&E to have too much for Hertford this weekend.
Shelford -v- Guildford 0-5 Shelford are in turmoil at the moment.
Sidcup -v- Tring 4-1 Sidcup pack will prevail.
Tunbridge Wells -v- Brentwood 5-0 TW pack alone will be too much for Brentwood who cant scrumage.
Westcliff -v- Wimbledon 2-4 Would like to say Westcliff but I think Wimbledon will react having suffered a surprise loss last week.

Chingford 5 v 1 CS Stags 1863 Huge result for CS last week. Perhaps I should trust them more but Chingford always play close games and have home advantage.
Dorking 4 v 1 Bedford Athletic Dorking pushes Tring close away from home this one to be a bit easier. Need a result.
Hertford 1 v 5 Sutton & Epsom Will S&E stay up there or is it a result of the teams they’ve played? This week might tell us.
Shelford 0 v 5 Guildford What will Shelford be like after that scoreline last week? Come out firing or fade away at the bottom all year?
Sidcup 0 v 5 Tring Nice to see Sidcup put in their newsletter that they recognise they have a bad reputation for touchline behaviour and trying to do something about it. Will need to do something on the pitch soon or will be sucked right into it
Tunbridge Wells 4 v 1 Brentwood Tight game but TW have to get something for their money.
Westcliff 1 v 5 Wimbledon High scoring. Westcliff certainly in the conversation for best of the rest along with Tring. Wimbledon won’t take anything for granted again and want it more than Westcliff.

Chingford 4 v 1 CS Stags 1863. Turgid battle of two big packs, gone for home advantage.
Dorking 5 v 0 Bedford Athletic. Bedford sick of the travelling already, Dorking to run riot.
Hertford 1 v 4 Sutton & Epsom. Not really sure so gone with heart rather than head.
Shelford 0 v 5 Guildford. Shelford staring into the abyss, Gs to take advantage.
Sidcup 4 v1 Tring. Sidcup are a decent team, just need to sort out their decision making.
Tunbridge Wells 5 v1 Brentwood. Brentford have started well, but RTW to take this one.
Westcliff 5 v 2 Wimbledon. It appears Wimbledon are beatable and Westcliff are awkward at home.

Chingford 1 v 4 CS Stags 1863. Torn between home adv and CS showing that last week wasnt a one off.
Dorking 4 v 0 Bedford Athletic. Dorking not scoring many points, Bedford not up to the travel.
Hertford 4 v 1 Sutton & Epsom. Hertford is always a tough place to play, no matter their current form.
Shelford 0 v 5 Guildford. Surely?
Sidcup 1 v 4 Tring. Tight and tense.
Tunbridge Wells 5 v1 Brentwood. Wells to bounce back after 2 defeats in a row.
Westcliff 3 v 3 Wimbledon. No idea.

Brentwood - Hertford game at the weekend. A familiar story for Brentwood, great start and great defence in the first half but didn't put the points on the board despite 2 big missed chances. One more score would have probably done it but hats off to Hertford they played very well, especially in the last 15 minutes when they got a sniff with us down to 14. Great penalty to win it.  On to next week, TW should be a big test.

Chingford 1 v 4 CS Stags 1863 Don't rate Ching but they continue to surprise
Dorking 4 v 0 Bedford Athletic Dorking are a good team
Hertford 1 v 4 Sutton & Epsom Big Hertford ball carriers should keep them in the game
Shelford 0 v 4 Guildford Still can't believe Shelford are struggling this badly
Sidcup 0 v 5 Tring From what I saw at Sidcup and what I've heard about Tring, away win
Tunbridge Wells  1 v 4 Brentwood Hope we can put an 80 min performance together
Westcliff  4 v 1 Wimbledon Westcliff to keep on winning

Chingford 5-1 Civil Service

Chingford holding their own and picking up 6 BP’s to date so clearly not a bad side

Dorking 5-0 Bedford Athletic

Hopefully D’s will have got a bit of confidence from last week
Hertford 2-5 Sutton & Epsom

Sutton continue to impress this year
Shelford 0-5 Guildford

No respite for Shelford
Sidcup 1-5 Tring

Tough one to call but plumping for Tring based on last year
Tunbridge Wells 5-0 Brentwood

Tunbridge start to fire
Westcliff 5-1 Wimbledon

Match of the day and going with home advantage

Seven sides with two wins so expect a lot of place swapping over the next month before we can get a clear picture of the likely cellar dwellers, with the exception of Shelford who look shot. We will know better if Westcliff are the real deal after this weekend.

The match report suggested the slope at Brentwood had a lot to do with the result. Is it a Tring like cliff face, a Hertfordesque dip, or just a gentle shelving like a fine Caribbean beach?

Chingford -v- CS Stags 1863     5-2    Up the jumper time from Chingford.
Dorking -v- Bedford Athletic      5-0    Taking a flyer on no weddings, touch judge turning up, etc etc
Hertford -v- Sutton & Epsom     5-2     Long time since we lost 2 in a row at home. No pressure there then, plus this is the sort of game we really need to be winning or we are deeeep in the doodoo.
Shelford -v- Guildford               0-5    Speaking of deep in the smelly stuff.
Sidcup-v- Tring                        2-5     Tring continue the long march to the top 3.
Tunbridge Wells -v- Brentwood  5-2     Gone with home advantage, but a little surprised to see TW down with us after all the promotion tips.
Westcliff -v- Wimbledon            5-2     Westcliff to show just how good they are.

Funny how things turn out....if East Grinsted hadn't imploded, chances are Westcliff would still be yoyoing between leagues.

CHINGFORD 4-1 CS Stags 1863- Yet to work out the promoted teams. Something must have been wrong for Dons last week, or are the Stags just rutting or rucking well.?
DORKING 5-0 Bedford Athletic- Hoping to see a full strength Dorking side before Christmas? Last week was special by all accounts despite the loss at Tring. Need the BP's before we get adrift.
Hertford 1-4 SUTTON & EPSOM- Sutts have been impressive of late, whereas Herts are not what they were last season. This could end in a draw.
Shelford 0-5 GUILDFORD-Formlines do not suggest anything else. I am surprised Shelford could not benefit from neighbours Cambridge.
SIDCUP 5-2 Tring- Cup look useful this year and Tring not so after losing some key players. Another game that could go either way.
TUNBRIDGE WELLS 4-0 Brentwood- A tough ask for gutsy wood whose turn will come soon, but this is a big ask. Wells strong at home.
WESTCLIFF 5-2 Wimbledon-I dont think Cliff's position is a fluke, but just wonder why Dons got beat at home last week. If at full strength this will be very close. MOTD..

Expect another week of closely run fixtures with few big margin wins. Strength in depth will kick in soon and as the ground conditions deteriorate and injuries take toll, the picture will change. Good luck to all.
