Amersham & Chiltern -v- Guildford   0-5     Guildford a bit too much grunt up front for AC
Hertford -v- Shelford                        5-0      Hertford tend to struggle with Shelford, but not this week
Southend Saxons -v- Guernsey          1-4     Guernsey too good for South.
Sutton & Epsom -v- Dorking              1-4      Type of game Dorking really need to win this season
Tonbridge Juddian -v- Chichester        5-0     No contest (come on Chich, prove me wrong)
Westcliff -v- Colchester                      4-1     Both teams desperate for the win, won't be pretty
Wimbledon -v- Westcombe Park         5-2      going with the home win but WP more than capable of taking the points.

Amersham & Chiltern -v- Guildford 0-4 I think G's just nick this.
Hertford -v- Shelford 5-1 Shelford more than capable of getting the win on their day but I think Hertford are the real deal this season and after last weekend performance are firm promotion favourites. They have also just signed Anthony Makka (The Vunipolas's cousin) who will add some serious power to their back row.
Southend Saxons -v- Guernsey 1-4 Guernsey to bounce back I should think although Southend do seem to be improving
Sutton & Epsom -v- Dorking 5-1 S&E pack to control the game and starve their backs of clean ball, if Dorking do lose hopefully their match report will be a better reflection on the game than the last one!!
Tonbridge Juddian -v- Chichester 5-0 This will be feisty, there will be cards. Only won winner though.
Westcliff -v- Colchester 4-1 Tight but home advantage will count providng W's get some players back from the treatment room
Wimbledon -v- Westcombe Park 1-4 Fingers crossed

Sir Q.
It is one thing to discuss amongst friends/supporters and to voice concern or praise over any particular 'Sirs' interpretation of the laws and any decisions made during a game, and another to voice openly and publicly dis-satisfaction, which is generally considered a no-no. As I was not at the  game in question I cannot comment, however it is extremely rare (if at all) that my club should be publicly critical of an officials performance, and even more so given the source, so the comments could not have been made lightly. We all know that we would not have a game without officials, and that QUALITY officials are a rare breed and numbers are a concern for the RFU. It seems to me that TJ's are now required at L5 (unlikely to happen) as the responsibility placed upon referees is ever greater and more demanding, and in fairness they will not see everything that goes on and cannot be expected to. Conversely it would be utopia to hear complimentary and congratulatory comments from BOTH sets of supporters at the end of any game on 'Sirs' performance. So much is at stake at this National league level in the age of semi-professionalism, which demands a review of the number of officials at L5.

You were not at the game so you won't comment but then you do ! A criticism of an official is still a criticism regardless of its rarity and just because it is rare ??? and who said it, doesn't give it any more weight, especially from a team and DOR so comprehensively outplayed . Having read both match reports, eight tries were scored by WP, three by the forwards 5 by the backs and yet the Dorking backs "would have tore them apart"  Last seasons' Dorking reports were much more fun.

Agree Tick. Dorking have the worst defensive record in the league and the refs aren't the ones who score the opposition's tries. Perhaps DRFC coaching staff should spend a bit more time on their defensive frailties and less on querying the referees attributes!

Last time I referred to Dorking paying players, by whatever means, the members on here went ballistic at me. I don't know the current status of the club, but it's apparent they defend their amateur status very strongly - I always wonder if it's a clause in the lease of their land?

I've always liked them on the pitch and was pleased for them to do so well recently, I hope they can kerb the tide.

Amersham & Chiltern 1 -v- 4 Guildford (could easily see A&C break their duck here but....)
Hertford 5 -v- 0 Shelford (Home side all the way)
Southend Saxons 1 -v- 4 Guernsey (Tricky one for the Islanders but reckon they will nick it)
Sutton & Epsom 5 -v- 1 Dorking (High scorer but Dorking's defensive woes to cost them here)
Tonbridge Juddian 5 -v- 0 Chichester (TJs still rather inconsistent, but more than good enough here)
Westcliff 4 -v- 1 Colchester (Close one but home advantage)
Wimbledon 2-v- 5 Westcombe Park (Close but giving the nod to Coombe)

There is no change Cannon. When a club loses the quality of Ross Grimstone, Will Crow, Armand Roux, Matt Higgins, Ryan Jeffery, Benji Marfo, Kariym Irving, Jon Vermont, Ted Lee, Charlie Stevenson and  DR players Mofe Wilkey, & George Jackson, they become difficult to replace if you dont have an open cheque book. So our youth have been asked to step up and are doing their very best, but plainly the size of the challenge must be obvious to all.

Once again my comments have been taken out of context and manipulated for response. I did not comment on the game or the official as I was not a witness. I was very surprised to read our match report which I did comment on, and was surprised at the views given rightly or wrongly. Who will be the first man or woman to deny that they have criticised an officials performance.???!!!. There will not be one I can guarantee.  On all accounts considering verbal reports from colleagues who did watch the game Dorking were well beaten and made many errors which contributed to the scoreline. Emphasis is on the word CONTRIBUTED.

FAP, I don't think its your calming words which are being picked out here, its the comments made within the match report and by your DoR.

I was at the game, and the ref wasn't bad at all. Not perfect for either side, but loads better than some I have seen. It is very unfair to hold him up as the main and possibly only reason Dorking lost.

Relegation is never easy for any side, and everyone has a bad day at the office now and again, but pointing the finger at everything else other than the obvious, has perhaps become tiresome for many.

In fairyball comments like that would have had your DoR up in front of the FA, and personally I don't find them to be at all accurate.

I haven't seen Amersham and Chiltern blaming the ref, and I am sure they are winning more friends in the process.

Just read Dorking's DOR's  comments and must admit I have never seen a ref criticized by Dorking in an official write up before so very surprised, but 5 yellows in a game would be hard for anyone to swallow

Perhaps it is a case of Dorking being used to a higher standard of ref's for past few seasons and having active participation from the assistants as oppose to the ref being the sole arbiter. Clearly Dorking need to adapt to the interpretations in this league otherwise they will continue to suffer more yellows.

Looking on the bright side though a 5 pointer on Saturday puts them back  in the top half of the tableWink
