Harrogate vs. Morley 5-0 +10
Ilkley vs. Lymm 0-5 +10
Kirkby Lonsdale vs. Hull - OFF
Rossendale vs. Billingham - OFF

How are Rossendale going to fit in all their catch up games ?

All over now for Lymm? Or will they grab 2nd place? They will need to beat Hoppers in order to do so.
Rossendale playing every week and into May and that's without further postponements!

Great result for Ilkley. Rossendale have history of not fulfilling their fixtures. In 2012/13 they didn't play West Hartlepool.
Fortunately it was a home game so Hartlepool did not miss out on revenue. Would have thought Hoppers would have let them play there or maybe not.

For information, Rossendale Sports Club is the umbrella(sic) body that the rugby and football clubs are members of and as such suffers when fixtures are cancelled. All three rugby teams have had to cancel matches due to ground conditions or adverse weather, the football first team have played 9 fixtures whilst others in their league have played 14/16. The mini and junior sections of the rugby have had to cancel many Sundays as well.
At this moment Rossendale is experiencing snow and sleet showers so the micro climate is in full swing!
RSC treasurer is not a happy bunny but hey ho our misfortune provides ammunition for others.
Face your fears, live your dreams.

Perhaps as good neighbours we should offer. Of course Hoppers have first choice at prime time on Saturdays - but maybe something could be sorted. Not for me to say.

Not sure why Hoppers are being brought into whether Rossendale will fit their fixtures in.

If Dale want access to the AGP then they would have to approach the RFU about a potential booking slot. As Hoppers have reserved access on Saturday afternoons (be it 1st XV or any other of the Hoppers sides) then chances would be limited for them booking it unless Hoppers didn't have any sides playing.

Not sure Dale would play on say a Friday night or Sunday as would their opposition travel.

Also as pointed out, with only a handful of home games played they will hope for better weather so that they can get some home games in to swell the coffers. Think that if they did move venue they would want to be closer to home than coming over to Preston.

I would have thought it good form for one rugby club to help out another where desirable and possible. Good relations eh! However as in a previous post - not for me to say!
I see, HM that you have a mention in today,s Telegraph crossword - eleven across!
