Tough game next week then vs the champions.....Cleckheaton vs Waterloo could decide the relegation spots or maybe it will go to the final round with 'Port against Morley!

26 min 0 - 17

HT 5 - 17

60 min 19 - 20

81 min 19 - 27

83 min Morley miss pen

84 min - end.

Morley 3 T, Hull 4 T

Hull the better team. Big mobile forwards creating space for quick backs.
Morley unfortunate not to get losing bonus point.
Huddersfield next week!

Relegation issues and possibly play off spot could well go to the final week which sees all the bottom 6 playing a fellow struggler.

A win for Hull at Rossendale next Saturday would put Hull only 4 points behind Rossendale.
Hull then have 3 home matches (Sandal, Doncaster and Kendal) whilst Rosendale have two away (Waterloo and Wirral) and a difficult home match against Huddersfield.
Rossendale put in the best team performance I have seen so far this season and I think they will hang onto 2nd spot - whether their committee want it or not!

Bottom end is more complicated apart from Stockport who are relegated.

Morley will probably need to rely on getting points from Lymm and Stockport on last day rather than Huddersfield and Wirral. 34 + 8 = 42?
Cleckheaton will need to get points from Waterloo and Lymm - Huddersfield and Wirral unlikely. 33 + 8 = 41?
Doncaster have a tricky home match against Kendal, with 2 away matches at Hull and Billingham, so probably relying on trip to Waterloo on last day. 31 + 0 = 31?
Waterloo have ground to make up on Cleckheaton whom they face on Saturday. difficult matches against Huddersfield and Sandal before thrilling climax against Doncaster on last day.  28 + 4 =32?

Bonus points may make a difference as well as the attitude of teams with no promotion prospects or relegation worries.

Maroon,
Rugby Post had Hull down as scoring five tries, the con not mentioned.
Seems like your boys pushed us all the way from 17-0 down, you must be proud of them.Clap
Sorry I could not make it but hope the Maroons stay up and we will see you all next year.

Yogi

It's an example of "fake news"!

Definately 4 t, 2 con and 1 pen.
Morley 3t 2 c

Thanks for that Maroon. It is just that the Rugby Paper named the five Hull try-scorers, but as neither  club has yet published a match report I will take your word for it.  At least Donald Trump was not among the scorers!!
I did think it was odd when I read your post that Morley had come back from 17-0 down to 20-19. That did not tally with us scoring five tries.

Didn't think one game was worthy of its own new total, so I will add the scores to this weekends scores - hope that's OK! Most people just scored 15 anyway!
