Excellent match at Stacks Field where Ilkley gave Hull the hard game they fully expected.
Facing a very strong wind Hull did well to lead 5-3 at the break but went behind in the first minute of
the second period to a well worked Ilkley try  With the wind advantage Hull gradually took control to   break down the Ilkley defence to score two more tries for a 23-8 win with all their three tries coming from wing ace Steve Hihetah.
It was nice to meet up with Pristine Shorts for the first time and the Ilkley hospitality was, as usual, first class.
What's with you Boo-Boo

Willie McIntosh,
The score at Stacks Field was 23-8 to Hull and not 23-3.
