Inside intelligence this week! Sadly, relegation looms still.

A dour game at Kendal saw the hosts run in 3 tries to Cleckheaton's 1 to come away with a 22-7 victory to gain 4 league points. The referee was brandishing cards for fun sending 3 Cleckheaton players to the bin with 1 from Kendal in separate incidents. This didn't help Cleckheaton in the battle at the bottom of the league, but if truth were told they were outplayed on the day in conditions that were heavy underfoot.

Despite being on the end of a heavy defeat Stockport's young players stuck at it and never gave up, their determination deserved the try they scored towards the end from a charged down clearance kick, and it was good to see both sets of players lining up to shake hands at the final whistle. Hull made a number of changes for this game but were still far to strong for the brave but outclassed Stockport team. but with the level of  enthusiasm that they showed this afternoon, then I am sure that they will bounce back in the not to distant future.

If Rugby is the game they play in Heaven ..... Why does it hurt like Hell when you retire?

Closely fought first 50 minutes at Castle Park, when the score was 17-10 before Rossendale showed their class to score 5 tries in the final half hour.

3 massive games to look forward to in March now at home to Sandal and Kendal and away to Ilkley!

A depleted Loo worked tirelessly yesterday, never gave Lymm a moment to settle into any kind of rhythm & scored some terrific trys in the process. A well deserved win. Super smashing great...

And he was right.....

That's a fantastic result for Loo and the lads heads must be up and are believing that they could pull this off.
I hope you do.

Loo F - quite frankly, I am not bothered whether they do or don't. I am just being a realist instead of pipe dreaming.

Good report for Billingham game. Morley stayed behind for a good few hours and enjoyed the hospitality and respect for doing so and not just shooting off
