Steve Taylor you do know Preston can't stop other clubs booking the pitch? You have to book it from the Rfu. Preston will not receive anything from the game apart from what they sell over the bar

Hull 26- Sandal 20
Very tough game for Hull at the Ferens today. Sandal played well in the first half to lead 17-5 at the
break. First eight minutes of the second period saw Hull score two tries to trail 20-19 and the pressure  built on the Sandal pack who eventually collected three yellow cards. Hull's BP try on 67 mins made it
26-20 and as the game went into ten minutes of added time Sandal had a very good spell but could not   break a resolute Hull defence. Five league points to one and Sandal will feel they deserved more.  Steve Johnson, Hull's fly-half, landed three towering conversions from wide out and could be awarded the Freedom of the City!!.

I watched Billingham dismantle park today and although park were way off their recent form I thought billingham were excellent. Best performance I've seen all season. They'd of beaten any team in this league today.
Hats off.

Another typical moronic comment from the vice-chairman of the Brantingham Park Working Men's Club.

Pock played well yesterday, on the evidence of that they should be a mid table team so question has to be where has that performance level been on a regular basis?

Billingham Old Git, true that RFU own pitch but as you will know, host club have guaranteed priority hours. Hoppers we’re happy to waive some yesterday afternoon so local clubs could play. We had Orrell U15s vs Garstang U15’s then Orrell 1st XV vs Vagabonds.

Hoppers 4ths then played and time was available for Dale as a standby. So we waived half our allocated Saturday hours for benefit of other clubs.

Just for further clarification, Hoppers didn’t out bid anyone for the AGP. We were used as the pilot and thus approached by the RFU. Dale and others can bid now that the program is open for all as have Billingham, Keighley and others have done.

McGowan is on loan (I think till end of season) whilst Hoppers have agreed to send scrum half Moulding on loan to Dale to get some game time but he has signed for Hops for next year already.

Enjoyed my visit to Pocklington yesterday and met some very nice people. A pity that unless something very strange happens we won't be there again for a long time.
Our coach remarked that we had to work very hard for the five league points. Certainly true!
It would appear that Orrel liked the AGP as they ran up 124 points against Vagabonds (IOM).

Cheers Yogi,
4 senior teams on a Saturday and a full compliment of Mini/Juniors on a Sunday makes for a very busy Working Mens CLUB.

SidJames/GeorgeW

Indeed it does make for a very busy club. Yet despite all of that busyness you can still find
time to have your continual obsessional snipes at my club. Your fellow club members must
be very proud of your projection of them.
