We really really are zeroing in on the finish line now, so let's see how things stand....

Dale can get to 110pts, so Hudds need 7 more to be guaranteed, most will have them down for 5 of them this week against a tough Morley side, I imagine, so I would expect them to be celebrating the official 1st place at home the following weekend against Cleck.

Hull can get to 102pts, so Dale need to hit 13 more to confirm 2nd place - this weekend sees those 2 clashing, so obviously huge connotations there. Should Dale pick up a 5-0 they will only need 3 more to see them home.

Down at the foot, Port have already taken the bottom berth leaving 4 teams battling for 2 spots. Morley picked up a huge win at Loo last round but were unlucky to come away with nothing in their catch up game leaving it looking like....

Morley 34
Cleck 33
Don Phoe 31
Loo 28

So close! 52 is the magic number for guaranteed safety, but 41 will probably be enough I reckon. Huge match at Cleck who welcome (sort of) a Loo side who need to win to stay in the mix. Morley look likely to get zero against dominant Hudds, Don could pull a win out at home to Kendal, but I imagine most will predict a tight Kendal win. 1pt will probably be the predictors favourite for Don there. So if Cleck can win convincingly, Loo will be adrift and looking downwards, Cleck will be seeming safe & Morley / Don will be battling for the third spot. Should Loo win convincingly then everyone will be basically on the same points! Blimey!

It's certainly going to be tense! The subsequent two rounds don't look overly favourable for any of those bottom 4 teams, so we might be more or less equal going into the last round, which sees Loo take on Don Phoenix for maximum nerve jangling! That could be a shoot out to see who survives!

This week's UNBANKABLE is to be Morley vs Huddersfield

Cleckheaton vs Waterloo
Doncaster Phoenix vs Kendal
Lymm vs Ilkley
Morley vs Huddersfield
Rossendale vs Hull
Sandal vs Billingham
Stockport vs Wirral

Good Luck!
