Let's focus on the positives chaps - looks like Rossendale for the play offs but who against? Very close in the Midlands.

Cleckheaton took home the points against a fired up Waterloo today, the visitors managed to blow a 24-7 lead early in the 2nd half. Cleckheaton scored a vital 4th try with 2 minutes remaining to run out 28-24 victors. Waterloo got 3 long range tries following break downs in the home attack and were good value for their lead but Cleckheaton kept it tight in the final quarter to get a vital win in the relegation fight. Very close still at the bottom with Doncaster Phoenix picking up a win as well at Kendal's expense.

LF , I was thinking more along the lines of Classical Gas, or in your boys the lack of it in the second half, enjoyed the game though, it has to go down as a tough loss for Waterloo.

Mate, five wins doesn't lie. I think today summed up our season. The boys in the second half of the season have been fantastic, yet lady luck hasn't agreed. But whilst there's 15 points available...who knows.

Good game at the Pits yesterday, Hull threw everything at a strong Rossendale side whose defence was excellent. The official had a good game up until losing it a bit in the final ten minutes but all in all a great example of the   skill and ability of National Three rugby, well done all involved and good fortune Hull in the future, Rossendale hopefully look forward to a home tie but difficult playoff and who knows a big challenge next term possibly bypassing their neighbours in the leagues,

Never,  been there and above with my other club as I say a big challenge, but one for Rossendale to take on with pride, if they can get there.

Loftylocke,
I am sure I speak for everyone at Hull when I wish you all the best in the play-off and also in N2N if you win it.
Home advantage is a big thing in the play-off and I remember when Hull won promotion to N2N at the end of 2008-09.  We were at home to Chester who were second in Midlands Three and we just had the edge in playing records.  We won 40-15 in the play-off and stayed in N2N for six years.
Best of luck to Ross, you have been second most of the season and deserve the rewards.
What's with you Boo-Boo
