Cleckheaton 31 - 52 Wirral

Kendal 20- 22 Billingham 22

Morley 41- 30 Lymm

Rossendale 11- 41 Huddersfield

Stockport 5-49 Ilkley

Waterloo are relegated and final spot for the drop is now either Cleckheaton or Doncaster Phoenix, if Cleckheaton lose their final game at Lymm without gaining any points and Doncaster Phoenix beat Waterloo in their final game , Cleckheaton will be relegated , other than that , it's Phoenix that go down.

No forum next season either - unless someone from Loo starts one!

"final spot for the drop is now either Cleckheaton or Doncaster Phoenix"

Not quite correct. Morley still need 1 point to ensure they escape relegation.

If Doncaster secure a 5point win at Waterloo (possible) and Cleckheaton get 2 or more points at Lymm (again quite possible) then Morley will need at least one point from their trip to Stockport.

Now the inevitable has happened, I would like the management to make a statement about their plans for next season as opposed to the club informing the membership that the Under 12s won and someone won the club draw!!

Agreed, but the reality was that Stockport vs Morley was going to secure Morley's status in National 3 North so I didn't factor that in after today's results. The other thing is that Phoenix only need a win if Cleckheaton lose and fail to gain any bonus points, a 5 point win isn't necessary.

Waltzer,  totally agree Huddersfield were magnificent especially playing uphill in the second half, they showed great strength and skill levels, good luck for Nat2. Rossendale needed to score early in the second half when they were still within a converted try, however they worked very hard, had an attempt disallowed and failed just short on several others after some valiant Huddersfield defence. Did Rossendale rest a few key players or are injuries a problem coming up to the playoff. Bramhall and McKibbin plus a couple of others were notable by their absence. Playoff should be a great game, looking forward to it.

Loftylocke,
You are right about Huddersfield's valiant defence which has been to me their key feature this season. We too were short of a few players yesterday and spent half of the second half with a flanker in the centres due to an injury. The effect was possibly to galvanize the team even further to prevent Rossendale spoiling their record. However if Rossendale had scored two instead of one quick tries at the beginning of the second half it could have been a different story. Good luck in the playoffs although you shouldn't need it and see you next year!

Yep, well played Hudd... to go 100% will be an amazing achievement, yet I'm sure Sandal will want to p on your chips. The best by a distance & well deserved. Ross are in for a ding dong with whomever they play in the play offs. Sheffield is most likely, so will need your A game. Good luck

Cheers for your good wishes guys, but time to move on and hopefully we'll acclimatise to our stay in N2N. We don't intend coming straight back down that's for sure.
However we know we'll need a bigger squad even if it's just to cover the five replacements we'll now need. Good luck to all those who will have another season in Premier North or whatever, and to those going down, I hope you are able to regroup and find the level you aspire to.

After reading the match report from Saturday on the Loo website,it appears that Mr woods is staying put. Talk of Masters signing on for next year is a plus, although he's been dogged by injuries & could break at any time. I hope the club can put out a statement, highlighting the ins and outs, to give us hope for next season.

Real shame if Woods hangs around as he should be first to go.
