Sale v Old Elthamians at 15.00 today.

Plenty of banter, gossip and prejudice on the Nat 2 board. By tea-time we should know who/where the final addition to the fixture list is...

Unhappy More miles on the road next season.
Come cheer up, my lads - 'tis to glory we steer!

You'll have to cheer OEs on, a bit of fag packet maths says that should they win, the mileage next season will remain almost exactly the same, with an extra hundred miles or so round trip if Sale FC win.

I don't have the postcodes saved like one or two other do and certainly can't be bothered to do all the calculations myself, but I'd guess that there's a good chance that Albion have stolen Redruth's crown as the furthest travellers in the National Leagues.

Sale 9 - 19 0ld Elts @ FT.

Drop goal from visitors puts it beyond a single score. Late consolation try from hosts goes unconverted.

It's getting crowded in London! Esher look forward to welcoming former captian Ian Kench when he plays for OEs (assuming he gets a new contract!!).

The problem is the lack of South Western sides but they are queuing up at the top of Nat2S - though we could lose Plymouth to the Championship.

That makes life very interesting now I'd say.
Especially as OE's beat Blackheaths 2's home and away this year.
Is there a power shift about to take place in Kent?

Well power follows money and OEs have a lot more of that than Blackheath. Will the Shanahan effect be stronger than the money effect?

In Touch, if you are an Old Elthamians supporter could you update your membership profile to say that? Thanks!
