Looking at the list of teams this season looks to be incredibly strong on paper, can't see any easy fixtures anywhere. Peterborough are a newish side, so unsure how they will take to the step up, but I have a feeling this is going to be a great season ahead.

I think it will be fascinating and very tight both at the top and the bottom of the league.

I think one of the barometers will be how teams adjust to playing on the All weather grounds as we now have at least three in the league. Both the home teams and away.

Will those teams then be able to adapt to playing on the bottomless swamps in the deep mid winter?

It has the makings of ,yet another ,cracker.

Some teams will be better than others but the rugby wont be similar in a blizzard at Wharfedale to Club Tropicana at Stourbridge.

It's getting tougher every year. You look through the list of teams and you can put strong cases forward for at least half going for the top spot.

The battle to stay up will be the most interesting, it only takes a few losses before you find yourself scrambling to survive.

Lack of much news at this level makes a mockery of trying to do any predictions, no idea if any sides are weaker or stronger from last year, recruitment seems to a secret art in Nat2 North.

Macclesfield losing to a Midlands premier side is interesting. Could they be the next big side to drop down a league?
