All seems quiet in National 3 South. Anyone heard any news of teams looking to push for promotion, player movement etc

My grapevine tells me that Ealing will be the team to beat.....followed by Scottish and Richmond.

With the amount of money Ealing are pumping into their players and the amount of times they are required to train they look more like a professional outfit.  I expect them to be the number 1 team at the end of the year.  I think Scottish & Richmond will be in the mix but I'm going to go for Canterbury to be the outsiders who will make a good push for a promotion / play off spot.

I seem to have forgotten about Henley, I dont think theres been anything said about signings or losses apart from Archer from them, so maybe they will have a shot at bouncing back?

Bridgwater announced 11 youngsters for the new acadamy on Saturday. Nothing confirmed on 1st/2nd team new players although I've seen 2 names that the press say are coming our way.

I've no real interest in who is going to win the league because it's not going to be us LOL

Well, where do I start. We have lost Archer to Cambridge, Wince to Ealing, ?Horse also to Ealing. Sweeney let go, Williams to Tring. We have got our pack almost sorted out, with signings from Reading, Bournmouth plus ?another three coming from.....?  Our coach is looking strengthening our backs in the next few weeks so until I can comfirm it, I will let you know. As for us getting promoation, wait and see, but I am going for Ealing/London Scottish for the top spot.
Nick.

Yes, it was inadvertantly leaked by the RFU in a write-up on the England Counties tour, after that Albert had to confirm it, sorry mate, very good signing for us. Ouch

LHTT,
A very good signing for you, but reference the rfu post about Liam  as to captain the England squad, it mentioned about his wise cracks etc.. I gather he did stir things up last season at Henley whilist he was injured, but never the less, a good signing for you.
Nick.

Have heard Rosslyn Park have signed Howard Quigley and Fly half Pugh from London Welsh. Got told from good source that London Scottish have also been talking to Henley full back and Ben Gotting of Worcester
