Though I know nothing about Clevedon, I think Newbury will win the playoff, if they do get the home tie, as expected. The hard grounds and big pitch will very much suit them, and I make them favourites, for sure.

how many teams go up from lv7 are there no Berks teams likely to get promoted into lv6 - Drifters or Slough ? (although i think one of both of those might come under Bucks even though physically in Berks)

Drifters are getting promoted from level 8 into level 7. Marlow look set to seal Southern Counties North, which will promote them into SW1 (lv 6).

CM - last week you predicted Ivybridge to have the best odds to finish 2nd for the play-offs.
This week you are predicting Dings to beat them.
Now I'm predicting that Dings will finish 2nd and will play Wimbledon in the play-offs.
Regards who will win that's another story.
My predictions for this week -
Brixham
Camborne
Hornets
Dings
Launceston
Bracknell
Old Reds

Now does anybody have any SP on Wimbledon as it would be great for a prediction for the play-offs.

Good Luck All

Well done Maids! Hope our boys at Newbury can keep on track having put 78 past Reading and now just have already relegated Reading Abbey as a warm up before facing Clevedon in the play off (mathematically we can still be caught by third place Old Patesians but it's unlikely)

Will have to see what we can find out about Clevedon but there are some of us supporters with relatively long memories who view promotion as a bit of a poisoned chalice having followed Newbury when we were up at the then National One (now Championship) and followed them as we tumbled down through the leagues being chased by the taxman all the way. Don't want to do that again..

The club is still skint and we haven't even been able to afford a coach for the team to get to matches for two or three years now.... I just wonder whether the promotion will attract any sponsors money so the lads don't have to rely on car sharing to get all the way to Camborne and the like.
