A very caustic report and wildly innaccurate.

With 9 games now gone, the only side that may claim to have got on top of Dorkings scrum were Diss and they suffered a bonus point thrashing.(I have watched all games bar Walsham).
Even Ampthills much vaunted 8 couldnt dominate and were turned over twice in the setpiece.

I would respectfully suggest that if you dont enjoy expansive, free running innovative rugby played with passion and integrity by a young, home-grown and unpaid side with many years in front of them, then its probably best that you dont catch another Dorking game.

There is a reason that Dorking attract such big crowds in this League and that is because they offer entertainment.Interesting to note that the "Dinosaur" Teams in this League are all poorly supported and I would presume that its because nobody wants to pay to watch a load of Fat Blokes stuff the ball up their jumper as they are neither fit nor clever enough to play any other way.

We are absolutely thrilled with our progress this season but we temper that with no expectation of what might happen. Our Players are a very tight and commited bunch on and off the park and actually enjoy themselves.I suppose thats borne from the fact that many of them have been friends since they were very young.Jesus,I wouldnt want to support the miserable so and so"s that I have seen this year, some teams appear to not even know each other off the pitch.

You can keep your Fat Blokes, your Soulless Mercenaries, your expensive imports, your crippling cash deficits and lack of home grown talent,we are happy as we are.we dont think we have a right to be in this League,we dont think we are a "big" Club,we dont look down on others,we are what we are and we just get on with it,come what may.

Worth noting that ,had things been a little different,(and they had not been so successful) Dorking would be able to add three 20 year olds already at Premiership Clubs on First Team Contracts(George Kruis at Saracens,Chris Yorke at Quins,Matt Keyte at Bath) and Jake Cooper playing at Welsh Premiership club Bedwas,to their ranks. All International Players and all testament to the brilliant production line of mini and youth rugby at Dorking.

Envy is the greatest form of compliment.

I've removed my 6 week old post NS, while visiting family near Stortford I went to watch a local game, I apologise if I said anything to upset you

I doubt there's anybody interested in the league who has anything but admiration for Dorking's achievements this season

I shan't comment on Dorking again
