Get Adrian to pay......I've heard he's minted !  Joking aside......that Guernsey trip will be an arm and a leg if you want to make the most of it !  Might not be the only chance though......not quite like Jersey, but I suspect that Guernsey may be here to stay ?

Possibly, we have booked for a 3 night trip. Couldn't miss the first Raider Derby of the season.

Ah-ha.......speaking on behalf of anyone else......welcome at last to R-M Adrian Tongue

Hope you enjoy the discourse over the season ahead.......the standard looks to be a frightening proposition again ?  Not sure I can see an obvious relegation candidate ?  But three MUST go again.

It is going to take a pretty special side or sides to win a lot of away games methinks ?

Once we get closer to the start it will be interesting to hear who thinks what as regards promotion and relegation ?

Darth, agree with welcome to Ade - someone must have set it up for him

As for tips for promotion - I suspect Rams RFC (as they are now officially known) will be there or thereabouts.

Relegation possibles - the promoted sides will do well to stay up.

Just for fun...

for the top 3...I'll go with Old Albanians....Rams (again)...and....TJ's

Relegation....will probably involve more teams than last season...

Hello Carrue......I've been trying not to get involved myself....what with another harrowing season ahead Wink

I must also go with Rams.......hard to imagine how they can go backwards after the last couple of years of steady and well managed progression ?

I'm hoping that other posters might help us with the prospects of both OA's and Redruth ?

The team that comes down from Nat1 are often fancied to go straight back up.......in my experience this is rarely if not never the case.  These teams are often on a protracted downturn and it takes a season or two to get reorganised.....player loss is an issue.  So I would expect upper mid-table for OA's ?

Did I hear that Redruth lost a bunch of players to Camborne ?  I don't suppose that they will lose too many home games regardless, but the extra away wins they need to mount a promotion challenge might be beyond them for another year ?

I don't see ANY obvious relegation candidate and as such, suspect that the runner-up in our league next year MIGHT lose 6, 8 or even more games and in that case, be looking at an away playoff again.

Any news from Taunton ?   They are another bunch of bridesmaids that one might expect to give it a big go this year ?

Have TJ's done enough in the way of recruiting to go up ?  Personally, I suspect they need at least one more season, but maybe not.

I strongly suspect that this will be another very tight season in Nat2S  TongueOuch

Reds have lost two iconic back rowers in the shape of Chris Fuca (St Ives Player/Coach) and Kyle Marriott (St Austell Coach). Cornwall's best two finishers - Lewis Vinnicombe and Alex Ducker have crossed the Red River and gone to Camborne. A few young signings have been announced but there are some big boots to fill. We will have a good idea of where we are after the first four challenging fixtures - Dings (away on their AGP), Taunton at home followed by Worthing and Guernsey both away! Shocked
