Ah, you're right. They changed it. You'll be telling me Woolworth's has gone out of business next.

Seems the FA are as daft as the RFU after all...

I don't see that it's appropriate for any league below level 3 personally. I know that level 4 has historically been referred to as "national", but in reality it's a regional league. Calling a league that covers a quarter of the country "national" has always seen crazy to me. Wasn't this only brought in in the first place to satisfy a sponsor?

Correct and an imposed bunch of freebies for N1 to endure without any discussion then National 2 had the same done to them.

A row of beans as payment for a imposed decision made behind closet doors. Angry

To answer the original question, I do hope Rolling Maul continues the discussion pages for these new Premier Leagues. They can be a great read!

It continued to offer a home for level two discussion when National 1 became The Championship, so I don't see why not.

Perhaps Richard should follow the RFU and rebrand his forum to show it covers levels 5 and above.

Any suggestions for a new name?

{Perhaps this should be a new thread in Clubhouse chat.}

With all due respect the name of the league is immaterial but its the geographical reference that could be called into question.

No one except the RFU can sensibly claim that Leominster is in the North - great club that Luctonians are.
