Northampton sign Lewis Bean from Moseley and Karl Garside from Ampthill & District for 2019 - 2020 season: https://www.northamptonsaints.co.uk/news/saints-announce-trio-of-signings-for-2019-20

Bean will join Northampton for their A league game against Worcester on 1 April before joining up with the Army training camp in Portugal ahead of the Service fixture list, so will not be available for the Moseley run-in - a big loss.

In fairness, even without signing for Saints that's been the deal all season and was in fact the deal last season. Not remotely unexpected, but still a shame.
keep the faith

ITV Jersey just tweeted that Jersey's longest serving player Nick Selway has signed for Chinnor next season. There is nothing on Chinnor's website yet?

I just Googled "Nick Selway rugby Chinnor" and the first result was the Chinnor website, but the link is to a 404 error message.

11 hours ago - Chinnor RFC are delighted to announce the signing of Championship stalwart Nick Selway from Jersey Reds.

A few weeks ago, Chinnor did announce they have signed experienced props Joe Rees and Camilo Parilli-O’Campo from Merthyr Rugby and Bedford Blues, respectively.

With Chinnor adding Nick Selway, they will have the biggest front row by some way in Nat 1, plus the biggest fullback!! Next seasons arm race has started.

No they won’t.
They will have their mates in the Premiership academies to boost them though.

(At the moment I do not expect them to be relegated though). Sadly.

Tough if the Premiership were to be extended, hartpury might not be relegated.

There is no parachute payment when coming down from Championship to National 1. Esher received a one-off payment on their first relegation which was when the Championship was cut from 16 teams to 12.

Prop Joe Wrafter from Birmingham Moseley - to Blues
"Joe is one of the standout props in National One and someone who has really blossomed at Birmingham Moseley where he is a fan favourite. Not only does he offer strength and superb scrummaging skills, but he also has deceptive pace and great handling abilities which is something we're really keen to see from our front rowers."

Any Moseley fans agree with this?

A big loss for Moseley, but not surprised as I think he will do well in the Championship.Good in scrum, mobile and breaks tackles and usually plays full games.

Good luck to the lad.
Is that now or at the end of the season?
Would really affect the run in if he goes immediately.

According to Bedford and London Scottish sites they are both going for next season which is a relief with three games remaining.
