I wonder why he didn't stay at Cov?

I'd guess because they've gone up and:

1) are spending some cash on eye catching signings
2) don't think the army link is going to work a level up in terms of availability.

Probably more 1 - they just don't need him where they're going and who they've got in the squad; that press release reads like he came in as a cover player anyway. Hope he goes better for us.

He never featured for Cov's firsts, which is a shame.
The 'Army link' probably isn't that much of an issue given that Cov already have Army prop Nathanael Tichard-jones and have recently signed Junior Bulumakao.

I find that a bit sad really. I've been on their website and their U18's only lost 1 game and won the Kent Cup
and similarly for their Other Mini and Junior teams. As a Dad I took my lad down to Sandal religiously every Sunday from U7's and he went on to grace the "Hallowed" 1st XV pitch for many years but these lads probably won't get that opportunity .Maybe they will get crowds of over 1000 a game and the cash will be sustainable.
We shall see.

of course anyone in OEs M&J that is good enough to make the 1st XV would have been signed up the the Quin EPPG and told not to play for OEs in case they get injured and miss a Quin U18 game.

Then they will end up being lent to Westcombe Park, Blackheath or London Scottish, before being dropped and left to pick up the pieces.

I think that is unfair on Quins - I am sure that scenario happens at all EPPGs, just as it happens at Premier Football Academies - it is a way of life accepted by the young in pursuit of a dream.

Yes it does, I just picked on Quins as OE are in their area.
Oddly I do have a soft spot for the quarters.

I thought SE London and Kent was Sarries territory not that you would know it.
It would be rare these days for someone to come through any club at this level from minis - 1st XV.
I would also doubt that OEs would loan anyone to Blackheath in fact I am almost 100% certain that they wouldn’t

Once the player has become part of the premiership academy, they do the loan, not the player's original club.
They do not have to loan them back to the club they came from and can loan them to another club in the same league.

Sid James if there has been signings why are the fans being treated with complete utter contempt.
If there has been any signings and you know who they are why don't you post it on this forum .
