Birmingham Moseley extend their squad with a further 8 new arrivals.

Adam Balding has brought in a mix of youth and experience as he puts the final touches to his squad for the 2019/20 season.

Harry Mahoney comes to us from Leicester Tigers. Harry, 21, began playing rugby at school in the backs before finding his position at hooker. He joined Leicester Tigers at the early age of 13 earning his place in the Academy at 17. While in the Academy he played in the under 18 Academy League final progressing to the Development squad the following season. He has experience in the National leagues having played 20 times for Leicester Lions and 22 for Loughborough Students.

Aquile Smith joins from Hartpury College where he combined his rugby career with his masters degree studies. Aquile (25) a winger played 26 times for Birmingham & Solihull before moving to Hull Ionians in 2015 where he appeared 43 times scoring 19 tries. His scoring rate established himself as a proven finisher and this attracted Hartpury to sign him up for the 2017/18 season in The Championship. Alongside his league rugby Aquile was a renowned try scorer in the BUCS Super League.

Tony Worthington, a bulky second row line out specialist comes in from Broadstreet. Tony is well known to another recent signing, Cliffie Hodgson who rates him highly from his time coaching him at Broadstreet.

Hooker Rhodri Tanner joins the front row brigade from Esher. Rhodri has experience of representative rugby by being selected for Wales Students. He spent a year at Nottingham Rugby followed by two years in National 2 North with Hinckley. He joined Esher for the 2018/19 season.

A further four young players with genuine potential to make a name for themselves in the future. They will also become part of the Birmingham Moseley Academy Squad to further their development:
Jamal Gask-Clarke, a winger with Wasps Academy; Second Row Harry Barnes Coventry College; Centre/Back Row Ollie Clarke Coventry College;  Scrum Half Josh McMurray  Coventry College.

Aquile Smith is a good lad, knows his way to the line. He once scored 4 try's for us in one match and ended up on the losing side.
I see Mose have lost Laurence Cowan to Hu££.

Cambridge temporary signings:

https://www.cambridge-news.co.uk/sport/rugby/retiring-cambridge-rufc-hooker-handed-16579209

As well as making eight summer signings, Williams has handed short-term deals to two players, Dave Hill and Calum Grant, with a view to longer-term ones if they prove themselves worthy.

Hill is a second-rower who has played Aviva A League rugby for Bristol Bears, as well as in National Two for Clifton, while Grant is a hooker who has been playing for Knox in Australia and Salisbury in South West One.

“They will have three-month deals from July to September, and depending on his it goes, they may be offered full contracts,” said Williams.

Rubbish!
Your views seem about as well constructed as your postings.

Having read a few of his postings I do recommend ignoring TT, he can't write English and knows very little.

i am a sheffield tigers fan and this is well recorded

i also support rotherham as and when

HENCE Tiger (shef) Titan (roth)

i know many natiional league players and my inside knowledge on this forum demonstrates this. often ahead of the curve. review my posts and you will note this.

not sure why i am being described as a troll - presumably Tiger Dome has told you about my Kyphosis and i am somewhat offended but unsurprised that you / he thinks it is funny

TT,
I respect the right of all Forum members to make postings with news and opinion and I have not called you a 'troll', although I can understand why others have.
May I suggest that you make your postings a little more 'legible' so they can be read and understood by the others. Try the 'Spell Check'.

Liked him at Welsh, had a bit of a wobble(!) at Glaws - was rumoured to be going to Mose last summer and I'd have been fine with that.

Good player.
