I used to have a girl friend called Stella Westwood.
She was a thirsty little madam, she'd drink anything you put in front of her.
Her favourite was brandy and Babysham!!

Those were the days!
You’ve got to get your first tackle in early, even if it’s late

Tulip,
Now that is a good beer.
I also like Hobgoblin, Old Peculier and Bombardier. Unfortunately not in our club.
Other favourites are Sam Smith's of Tadcaster and of course Tetley Bitter.
 After that, anything that's going!!

Ah, Tulip ! I recall that story - unfortunately, or possibly fortunately, I missed both Sandal games, but I do hope to catch up with you next Season. Bit of a bogey team for us and always has been in my rich rugby career.

Hull’s beer taste is reflected in Yogi’s preference for Sam Smith’s and ( Wolverhampton ) Tetley’s : clearly a chap in need of a trip west. Should the unthinkable occur and we see them next season, I’d be pleased to start the healing process.

Pristine Shorts,

I have always enjoyed the beer at Stacks Field although I have only visited since your clubs elevation to
the NPL.  If we do have to visit Ilkley next season I will hunt you down with the sole aim of beginning my
 rehabilitation at your expense!!Thumbs Up

Anyway, enjoy your day in ‘ull, They’re a great team ! So long as they’re not serving beer !

Unless the situation has changed, Hull RUFC don't have control of the Clubhouse Bar.
What if the Hokey Kokey really IS what it's all about?

The Nuns have had a very moderate season but led the Lions 20-0 on 17 February. Only to lose 20-21 in the 9th minute of add on time. Haven't seen Hull. Look forward to playing Lions next season!

Best wishes to Hull! I considered driving over to watch the game but decided that the long return trip would be too much after two or three Doombar! I agree,PS,about PGH's Wainwrights - very ordinary!

Lions were the best side we have seen at Sandbach since Ampthill came a few years ago - good to watch with offloading forwards, great backs and real Barbarians rugby. Their 10 and 12 are class and 15 can score from anywhere so if they get plenty of ball Hull will get no rest. So best of luck to both sides, if Hull beat them they will need to be ready to match the running game or deny them the ball. Lets hope the game is won by the best team and not any dodgy decision making by the ref.

Wit Ball,
We also have plenty of pace in the backs, resulting in 33 tries for one winger an 23 for the other.
I think we will be able to match the Lions in that respect.
I share your comments re dodgy decisions.

I keep looking for Sam Smiths beers, but they don't seem to get north of the border, nice ales.

Of course congratulations to Lions, but I'm still reeling from Yogi's spelling of Babysham !!!
