Titans lose 2 and now have 2 players up in front of a disciplinary planel for apparently abuse of the match officials.

I thought Jake Henry should have been off for an HIA during the second half, he certainly looked to be groggy for a good few minutes. Don't know if it's anything to do with that time period, but I didn't notice any handling of Sir. Pity, Jake was one of the few who stood out for Roth during the game.

There have been a couple of instances over the last 18 months or so - a Bristol player against Ealing, and a LW player versus Leeds - in which players have been banned for shoving the ref having collided with him accidentally on the fringes of rucks.  It doesn't matter if sir's positioning is poor and you run into him because he's in your channel and you're following the ball - the minute you make contact, you're in hot water.

The pushing of a match official is an automatic Red Card, but Jake Henry wasn't sent from the field, so non of the 3 match Officials could have seen it. Did the 4th official cite him, or did the Ref feel a push, didn't know who it was, and looked at a replay after the game. I didn't notice anything. It will be interesting to see what the outcome is tonight.

When Ben West was banned last season, the ref spoke to him at the next break in play, saying "If you do that again, you might be in a lot of trouble, alright?  Occasionally I might get in the way but it does not justify pushing me over, is that understood?".  He was subsequently cited and got six weeks, the precedent for the length of the ban having been set in the Mitch Eadie case the previous season.

Seems Charlie pleaded guilty, 3 weeks off, Jake pleaded not guilty and found no case to answer, so free to play (ref backed into him at a ruck and stood on his toes and Jake pushed him off, on their try line defending as well, so all fairly hectic and innocuous)

I am not doubting for moment what you are saying, but you really have to question the motives of the match officials (ref and citing officer) in the circumstances you have described. No case to answer, says it all.
