Not looking forward to sorting this mess out it must be said, but needs must so let's hop on it.........

Bill vs Sandal looks like a strong home win. Bill got a bit of a spanking at KLon last time out, but back at home I think it will be all business. Sandal just having a bad season it seems. BPark can get to 52pts, worth bearing in mind!

BPark vs Dale - Park will be absolutely buzzing after their crucial derby day win. If they could somehow grab another 5pter here their tales will be well up. Dale have 3 games in hand on a lot of teams
so its pretty hard to gauge where they are really, but theyre a tough test for any team.

Gate vs Pock I think will be an awful time for Pock. I mean, this is 5-0 all day right?

Ilkley vs Wirral could be anything. No way of predicting this one that I can see. Home win?

KLon vs Hull sees KLon on the back of a magnificent win in a potentially tough home game face off against 4th place Hull who need this game in hand to nestle into 2nd place. Fancy them to do it, but KLon will have worried them a little.

OK so let's see who's got what....

Bill vs Sandal

Superhans01

KLon vs Hull

Pristine Shorts

Used to play

Think that's right - shout out if you think I've made a mistake!

Billingham vs Sandal
Birkenhead Park vs Rossendale
Harrogate vs Pocklington
Ilkley vs Wirral
Kirkby Lonsdale vs Hull

Good Luck!

I presume these matches were chosen on separate Saturdays. The last catch-up Saturday, I had no bankers.

This is a catch up week with games from all over the schedule, so some people may have more than one banker

So - the original bankers apply, per your schedule above.... but not the original points forecasts ? Or have you factored those in too ? Getting a bit complicated !

I am staying with my original forecasts - I trust that this is acceptable!

Billingham v Sandal      5-2 +10 High-scoring Bill, but Sandal don't lie down. BANKER.
Birkenhead P v R'dale    1-4 -10 Too little too late from BP, but fighting all the way.
H'gate v Pocklington      5-0 +10 Pock doomed. Shame. Ouch.
Ilkley v Wirral               5-1 +10 High-scoring and vengeance for the Dalesmen.
Kirkby L v Hull              1-4  -10  'ull batter their way to a narrow win. BANKER.

It seems more complicated than it is

If a game gets postponed we null and void the original prediction and predict afresh when the game is eventually played. The only thing that sticks around is any bankers that you may have originally placed on a rearranged game, otherwise you would miss out.

You can predict any which way you see fit on a rearranged fixture, you can just only bank on a fixture that you had previously banked on

Stem, thanks for explaining the complicated Banker scenario, I can't say I'm in favour of the rule but that's why we have rules.....just seems unfair that you can carry both bankers across when games are rearranged, for example, and this would be extreme, you have player with 3 banked bankers which if they ticked all the boxes would leave them scoring 90 points from 3 games plus whatever could be gained from the other matches, if 7 matches were played in a catch up round a total of 150 points could be obtained (think that's correct) for a full house!

Sten - Sorry to be a pain but on checking I do have a roll over Banker but it was from wk13 on the Kirby Lonsdale v Hull game not the wk17 Billingham v Sandal game !

I checked as no way I would put a Banker on Sandal to win at the moment and never predict they will loose !  I remember Hull were flying and I had only a few weeks before watched Kirby Lonsdale and couldn't see any other result tan 5 - 0 at that time (how things change !)

No problem mate, but I don't think you're right at all.

If you bank on a game that gets postponed and you lose your banker then you've lost out on a potential 15pts. You gain nothing by being allowed to "rebank" when the fixture is rearranged, nothing except parity with the other players.

I have no bankers this week, but that's because I used them in those game weeks already on other matches, so have already reaped the benefits. Those players with bankers for this week are effectively playing catch up.

Come the end of the season everyone will have had 1 banker per week

It seems that I have to forecast again:

Billingham v Sandal....5-0....+10
Birkenhead Park v Rossendale....0-5....+10
Harrogate v Pocklington....5-0....+10
Ilkley v Wirral....5-1....-10
Kirkby Lonsdale v Hull....1-4....-10

The Good Lord knows whether or not I have bankers to play! Surely this woild be simpler as a straightforward home, away or draw! No bankers need apply!

It would be simpler but extremely boring and completely take the challenge and fun out of it, this is the best predictions league on rolling maul !

Crag Hopper - you could keep a note of your own Bankers if the games cancelled or even look back on the forum if needed as all the weeks predictions are still visible, BUT Sten is a very good chap and does keep on top of things excellently.

I have every respect for Sten, yet cannot agree that this the best prediction league on Rolling Maul! There are far more contestants on N3N. But if the format suits you boys then so be it!
