Thanks Siteman, I saw someone from the club earlier and they gave the same score. Good result, we never beat Sedge when I watch them!

I understand Guernsey hosted a `scratch` Macclesfield team and were beaten 26 - 10 by the visitor from Cheshire

The Rams "Six Way" seemed to go down well last Saturday. The winners, I think, were Chinnor, but all six teams got a decent run out on pitches that thanks to the 24 hour watering system were perfectly playable.
Enjoying life!

Exmouth 17 - 24 Redruth according to Exmouth tweets. Nothing on Redruth website so don't have any team news.

Redruth RFC nothing on website, no information and promoting of the club this is really bad a press officer who is actually in tune with the club is needed. Fans are disinchanted and will vote with their feet can they really afford to lose loyal fans.

Sould like you are volunteering.
It is a pitchero site, so easy to update - several of us could offer you support if you get stuck.
All you need is a bit of time and most importantly a way to get the information.

Yes, Chinnor beat Esher 14-7 in the final match. A good run-out for Esher, we used 34 players and it was our first contact work of the summer, given the hardness of our ground at the moment. Lots of new signings used and some good integration.

Certainly if information e-mailed then could upload from anywhere but key is getting information in the first instance. Maybe with e-mail reminders

This Saturday - 18th August

REDRUTH v BEDDAU 2.00 p.m.

Beddau are coached by Lee Jarvis (formerly of Pirates and the now defunct Mounts Bay) whose last coaching role was, I believe, at Welsh Cup and Premiership winners Merthyr Tydfil who beat them 66-0 last weekend. They finished ninth in the Welsh Championship last season so should be a good test for The Reds.

Redhead thanks for that what sort of team does the reds put out all I can see so far they have lost players of abilitity to other Cornish clubs but no significant signings disappointed to be honest no good news coming from the Rec just golf days etc. Dare I say relagation season on the cards. What's going on at this once great club.

darkarts, I must say I share some of your concerns. Fuca, Marriott, Parsons, Vinnicombe and Ducker definitely gone. No news on who is still with us. A few youngsters signed - no doubt very talented but will they cope physically with Level Four, especially when the pitches get softer? No team news from last week's game at Exmouth. Some photos on the Exmouth site show Gidlow playing at 6 and what looks like the back of Brown's head. Other than that I can't help!

We shall see who runs out against Beddau on Saturday! With Dings away, Taunton at home followed by Worthing and Guernsey away a very tricky first four weeks lie ahead. By then we shall have a better idea of what the prospects for the season are. I really hope you are being over pessimistic about relegation especially as it looks as thiough Camborne will be making a real promotion bid.

Just checked the website, last post was July 16th advertising a Golf Day that was nothing to do with the club and which happened on August 3rd!

I believe there have been personnel changes behind the scenes, presumably nobody has picked up responsibility for updating the website.

At Exmouth on Saturday both sides looked pretty poor I thought. However, it was still early in the pre-season so perhaps both teams were short-handed?

That's a tricky start for Redruth. I fear they'll need another robust points haul at home as this coming season will be even harder than the last in N2S.
