Just on that Chinnor win 1-5. and 20 -22.
Given Cambridge were 3 tries to 1 in the lead after 40 min, in spite of a yellow card. With the help of a modest wind second half, it should have been a 5 -1 outcome or maybe even 4-2.
Chinnor did not win the game,Cambridge lost it against a team with high aspirations and undoubted talent.
Much to learn here about the importance and value of home wins.

Quite a difference between your tables and those of SS.

I don’t have the experience of Sideline Scream. I was awarding 5 points for a completely correct prediction, 4 points for a prediction with one score wrong and 3 points for a correct prediction with both scores wrong.

I thought that is how the points are awarded !

Hi Fatbear - there is a posting by Longtime on the previous page explaining how Sideline Scream's more complicated scoring system operates.

CALCULATION ( I think this covers it but dont forget divine intervention)
16 Options with and without 4 try bonus and 7 point losing margin bonus
5-0,5-1,5-2,4-0,4-1,4-2/0-5,1-5,2-5,0-4,1-4,2-4/2-2,3-3,3-2,2-3
The classic SS computing is
5 points for a spot on forecast points e.g 5-2
or
2 points for guessing the winner but not the points difference
or
5 points for a correct draw but 2 points for any other draw outcome (1 draw so far in 24 matches)
and a bonus 5 points for 8 correct results
Alderman could perhaps adopt the same in retrospect then update as and when SS starts to get behind
To your credit Alderman you are faster off the blocks than our Club devotee
Backing Local Person or 2 CAP IT ALL for the top with Hophog the favoured outsider

Ranger, a firm handshake will suffice. Perhaps I might even buy you a drink.
Handshake
Beer
However, as I am now in exile in darkest Wiltshire I cannot manage all the home games.

Ha ha remember it well, club did win that day and I was spoken to albeit after the customary mickeytaking had subsided. Also recall getting home with very little in my wallet despite the generosity of a complimentary ticket courtesy of your hierarchy. Just to clarify in case anyone thinks I'm getting soft, it would be the only time I was rooting for a "Club" win. πŸ˜†
