As the season is nearly on us again, I would again like to extend Esher hospitality to Rolling Maul members. When your team visits Esher and I am at the match (missing 1 this season, I think) I am happy to host up to 3 visiting Rolling Maulers and friends (if they have any) for the pre-match lunch and the match. I'll pick up half of the cost of the package but please book by messaging me on here so that I can get you the right ticket package!

I wasn't able to do this last season due to the health of the late Mrs Halliford but I'm bringing it back this season in the hope of good banter and some great laughs!

We will have invited 6 from the Committee. If anyone not already booked wants to come I’m holding two places for them.

That is a splendid gesture Halliford - Esher was always one of my favorite clubs to visit with Rosslyn Park. About 15 years ago I can recall Park winning a narrow game there and I decided to modestly celebrate in the Esher clubhouse after the final whistle. I got the head barman to make an announcement that all the drinks were on my tab for any Esher supporter. The bill came to about fifteen quid only - most of that was my drinks and I ended up dribbling down my Park blazer and talking to a hat stand before my driver took me back to the Dorchester - happy days.

If you're not on the pitch you can't win the game
