If this goes ahead, it reinforces further the Championship as the illegitimate child that nobody wants. Surely the top men at Nat1 clubs have to get together & either dismiss it out if hand completely, or set their own levels that all abide by. I'm with big Eddie on this, I wouldn't want to watch a team that is 80% dr's...even in our current predicament.

Did you watch the test match last Saturday?

Are you aware that the U-20s have made the past 5 finals at the World Championships?

That at the last RWC we had the youngest squad?

If this is failure god only knows what success would look like.

OK thanks...for the patronising reply. I can now see where the "mighty" comes from...just need to squeeze in "high&" then you're sorted....pal.

Ask your Council member how they voted and why.
If you do not like the answer, lobby your club to put up a candidate against them.

I don't think it was any coincidence that Ionians best performances came at the end of the season when they weren't relying on Championship loan players and were playing teams who weren't propped up quite as much by Premiership loan players. I'm not sure that adds to the debate much. We have a relatively large number of players who came through our youth set up. That's how I think it should be.

I see the benefit to the Premiership, though I think it devalues our competition. Ultimately I doubt the RFU care.
