Yesterday was perhaps the 1st run-outs for many clubs. Any disappointing or impressive performances?

Who grabbed their moment to shine?

This weekend might be when more clubs take to the field of honour.

Bees travel to Darlington Mowden Park for the first of our three looseners. I understand we are taking 25 or more players up there, including 5 new signings, but without two of our regulars from last season who have skipped off to pastures new - hooker Giorgi Lomtadze has gone back to Georgia and wing man Gavin Stead has gone to Huddersfield YMCA.

Should be an interesting little tussle!

Why has Stead gone to YMCA Bubba?

Bees (and N3N's) loss will be Hudds YMCA's gain I'm sure.

I only know of Chester v Sandbach involving a N3N club in the NW this weekend. There website the only place I have found any info.

Don,

BPFC will be taking on Shrewsbury RFC at the Upper PARK this weekend as one of their pre-season friendlies. This will be an opportunity for all all tourists to keep up the work they have done in Trinidad and Barbados and non-tourists to get back into the swing of things! 3PM KO.
Put your bodies in the oven, heads in the fridge!

I am not entirely appraised of all the facts, but he is now working back in Huddersfield and might have been struggling to get across to Bingley 3 times a week. I am not sure though, is my honest answer.

Get himself clean, have a good meal. You know, do whatever he feels.

South playing Camp Hill today. 4 x 20 minutes sessions.

Who called the Bournville Paviors game off. South traveled to Paviors last pre season only for them to decide they didn't want to play us.

South beat Camp hill scoring 9 or 10 tries and conceding 1. Ref called to halt 10 minutes into the last quarter as it was starting to get a little tasty.
For South Johnson and Miller looked good on the back row, and new 9, centres and wing also looked excellent signings.

Burton overwhelmed derby 53-24, if that is derbys first team, they will struggle massively. Rumours from their players that 7 have left because they are no longer being paid.

Combe played Canterbury. The game saw no one going for goal both sides missing a few players canterbury won the try count 3-2 but an excellent first outing for Combe who more than held there own the new guys look very promising.

The 2nd team also played Canterbury 2s and won.

Tougher game at home next week against promotion chasing Worthing.
Come on the 'Combe'

Some have left... because they have moved from the area (2 to Spain!). None of them were ever paid! Others have joined, others not available yet.
