Sad news for Bees always had a good rapport with their club. Good luck for the future.

I'll second that FP always had a great time (social) when playing them Home or Away.
You’ve got to get your first tackle in early, even if it’s late

It’s been a while since bees glory days under the finances of pertemps and their win over wasps in the senior cup. Hopefully they’ll properly develop a club ethos and develop home grown 1sts, 2nds Colts etc and rebuild properly rather than hold out their hands to benevolent people in future.

They are not official yet but I have only known one set of fixtures to change after appearing on the Competitions Website. They might change them just to make me look daft.

The South West and Midland Divisions always put their teams in alphabetical order in the fixture template. If you know the template then you know the fixtures. Even if they change the fixtures I doubt if they'll change the teams.

Sandbach official twitter account has just posted this. https://twitter.com/sandbachrufc/status/1137052823827484672?s=21
Confirms the rumour (if correct) that Bromsgrove get a reprieve due to Bees demise. Perhaps ‘Theroughpro’ can shed some light on this considering his thinly disguised anagrammed handle implies he’s their head coach.

It’s now been confirmed to us that SW Premier will have only 13 teams next season.

Ouch, I feel for the SW teams and I get the feeling that Midlands blackmail (for lack of a better word, apologies) has just cost the SW teams a little money. Mind you, I can't think that Chingford are much happier in LSE at Birmingham either.

Will this mean that come the end of the season there will be just two teams relegated rather than three in SW Prem I wonder

I think it is 11 down over the four leagues and level transfer.
Except, I do not expect Leeds to make it so I suspect it will be ten down.
But it is usually fewer relegation places not more promotions.

And of course we may have a reorganisation.
So who knows.

For anyone that likes an easy way to check scores on match day, or just see what other clubs in LSE Prem are up to I've updated my Twitter list for the new season - https://twitter.com/bruceelliott/lists/lseprem

It's bizarre that the SW Prem loses a team as a result of the Bees pulling out of the Midlands Prem. Surely it would have been better to reprieve Cleve from relegation or promote Old Cents who narrowly lost the play off game to Launceston?

Doesn't feel right that an issue in another division has no impact on that division and all the impact is felt in the SW

The Midlands Mafia has a lot of clout clearly.

I agree, surely it would have made sense to offer Cleave a reprieve. I know it would have a ripple down effect but surely it would be better to lose a team a lot lower down in the levels than level 5. The higher up you are in the levels the less you can afford to lose revenue I would have thought.
A few years ago when London Welsh collapsed it rippled down to N2S (where Barum finished 3rd from bottom but were reprieved from the drop).
I see its Barum that will miss out on the first day which will probably mean its week 3 before I can see some competitive rugby at Pottington Road Cry . Still same as last year I guess where we started with two away games!

Indeed but on the upside the predominantly young Newbury Blues side looking forward on their return to the SW Prem to to trips to Barum and the other West Country venues starting with the longest trip of the season to Camborne!
