Collegiate and Fleetwood join the ADM Prem making it a 12 Team League

Duky & Colne join the ADM 1st Div. but with Eagle deciding to opt out due to the level being  bit higher than expected that leaves 1 slot in the 1st Division free.

Think that leaves a 9 Team Lancs & Cheshire Div.2 in the RFU Leagues.

With Fleetwood finishing bottom of their league would they be expected to go into the ADM First Division rather than the Premier League?

Despite the perceived demise of Eagle the trend is definitely upwards!!

So basically they’ve been relegated and then decided / persuaded there’s a way to supposedly remain at Level 7.

Seems like a well run league with some strong teams.

It will be interesting to see how the Lancs & Cheshire 2 & 3 format their fixtures. Too many to combine into 1 league. 9 in L&C2 and 10 in L&C3, I think. If they play each other once, that will give 16 fixtures in L&C2 and 18 fixtures in L&C3. If they played each other 3 times then it would be 24 and 27 fixtures. Interesting to see what they come up with.

Apparently the ADM fixtures will be out tomorrow.

Here is my guess at what they might be. There is a strong possibility that I am wrong. Smile

I guarantee about three of these break away teams will fold by the end of the year. No tears will be shed for the Lancs cry babies.

You're a shrewd operator 373, remember your quote from this time last season, hasn't aged too well.

373, you are embarrassment to your club and your county, clearly you don't like other clubs and county's being proactive and organising themselves, no you are to happy to sit in your little part of West Wirral and hope it will all go away.

Eagle to my knowledge and as Griffin states are playing in the Intermediate Leagues hardly "gone forever".

You wished ill on Clubs struggling in a rugby environment that has failed to keep speed with both the games changing landscape and social trends. When something new was created and gave those clubs something to work and grow with you aimed even more of you vitriol at them.

You have no insight
You have no honour
You are a sham

I would suggest you stop posting on a topic you know nothing about.

Seems to me that all clubs have highs lows anyone degrading any club which means degrading their players is an individual who is someone who you really wouldn't want to have a beer with after a game that's provided they have ever played a game
by the way I'm from a Wirral club

We may be laughing at you next season. Only 3 wins last season and an arguably harder season ahead. Level 8 beckons!

My guess was fairly good but not quite correct. The fixtures will be out officially tomorrow.

Replying to Monkey Boy. Fleetwood’s decision had nothing to do with trying to maintain level 7 status. Over the years we have been at levels 6,7 and 8 depending on our playing strength at the time.
Our decision is purely pragmatic. We heard yesterday that both Liverpool Collegiate and Dukinfield had transferred to the ADM leagues which means that we were in a 10 team league. This would mean only 9 home games in a season. Too many free weeks means that players get out of the playing habit and drift away. There are also financial implications with so few first team home games. We called a meeting yesterday attended by players, coach and committee to discuss the situation. The unanimous decision was to join the ADM leagues. We are now guaranteed 11 home league games and a minimum 1 home cup game against teams that we have competed against for many years in North Lancs Cumbria. We are looking forward to renewing old friendships next season.

Completely get this.
And that's the bottom line, 'cause Stone Cold said so!

And now Marple (Cheshire) have joined.

Thornton Cleveleys to Marple isn’t exactly local rugby for what’s effectively level 9

Imagine not wanting to play in Cumbria but happy to play in the furthest point of Cheshire.

There’s hypocrisy everywhere you look at present
