Going back to the prop incident, I know the prop was injured when he came off, everyone could see that, what I suggest happened (because in a game of that magnitude any club would), they said it was tactical sub in the hope the physio might be able to work some magic when he was sat on the bench, with potential to play later in the game. That said Richmond got punished for it.

Speak to the Caldy hooker at the time he must have heard the linesman specifically say "they have changed from a tactical to an injured front row sub". I think the Caldy hooker even said himself that will help the Caldy pack! The ref then also stated there will be a report after the game.

Newt, in National 2 you are only required to have one prop on the bench, a hooker cannot play prop, so once deemed the prop could not come back on, it had to go uncontested.

You weren't scary RichmondGirl precisely the opposite in fact, I just didn't want the rest of the Caldy contingent squealing to the Caldy Choir mistress that I was being overly friendly with Richmond's top totty. You were such fun, and in my attempt to finger some of the younger and better looking Caldy players as Big Eddie, I hoped you would post some flattering comments and burnish Big Eddie's image on Rolling Maul.

You will have noticed that I didn't introduce you to the infamous Caldy Waterboy, that would have been a retrograde step.

You must visit next season. I will let others from the North judge whether you missed out by not being introduced to Caldy's infamous Waterboy. Brace yourself!

Commiserations Caldy!

Heard it was a sterling performance from the lads. They all deserve a pat on the back. Especially Degsy as his arms are too short to pat his own.

Is it this player the Blundellman is referring to?

Your 19 year old prop would have been up against our 19 year old prop. The fact ours is from Quins academy (don't confuse Quins first team with their academy) has no bearing. He is playing the same level of rugby. He just happens to be very good. Wink

It was lovely to meet all the Caldy fans even if none of you would own up to your RM identities!

I didnt have chance - i was off the pitch like a flash at the final whistle - so you will have guessed who i was!!!

I'll stand corrected but answer this, how come it only says FR on the match sheet, i.e. no distinction between a prop or hooker for front row subs.

NEWT is an acronym, it stands for North East Worcestershire Town. My views, not necessarily my Club's

Ah L33! Now I know. I was promising you on twitter that we would win in 80 too. Shows what I know. I'll not mention the game with the round ball but how was your 'taxi'?

The document you are quoting answers your question:

Quote 6.3 In their match squads, sides must have at least two players capable of playing hooker and three players capable of playing prop.

6.3.1 On the first instance where a hooker has to be replaced and the first instance where a prop has to be replaced, the side concerned must provide a capable replacement so that the game can continue with contested scrums.

I.e. at the start of the game, teams must have at least one prop and one hooker on the bench, but a hooker doesn't necessarily have to be capable of propping.

Taxi was boss - got me to Wembley in 12 minutes - being a local you can probably guess that takes some doing - lets just say i was hanging on the back of that taxi very night whilst cramping up!

I am just gutted i missed out on the after match food thats all the lads have gone on about -

I reckon a pre season friendly is needed and trip to the church the next day - #caldyravers

The other prop was Jack Collister who got sent off

I did not mean people shouldn't watch as many videos as they like, just that the ref does not have the benefit. Anyhow the point has been put much better than I can by numerous knowledgeable others.Good luck Caldy in perhaps winning your league next year.

I know this has been a reasonably long thread that has discussed the merits of red cards etc and obviously the promise of a meeting with or a visit by that alluring temptress Richmond Girl, but as we draw the thread to a close I would like to indulge in one of the highlights of the day.

A great moment for a top bloke.

As usual the sound is ahead of the video but listen carefully to some of the comments from the genteel Richmond supporters. Richmond Girl what words have you been teaching them?

Pen 15 is going to put the glamour shots on You Tube. As I am sure the pictures will go viral he is proposing a three way split from the associated advertising revenues

1 third to Richmond Girl - its only fair
1 third to Richmond FC as their pool table is clearly visible in most of the shots
1 third to the Caldy Ravers to fund their pre season match at Richmond FC
