Buying mor off the shelf props doesn’t seem to go to the root of the problem.

Yes, Pappashanga, I thought that the Richmond scrum was first class on Saturday, they stuck to their task really well and were solid on Jersey's put in, whilst retaining their own ball (albeit often under pressure).
I had a good chat with your Tight Head after the game, what a really nice lad he is by the way. He turned his ankle and came off, but said that he was coming off anyway and was dead on his feet. Hardly surprising as he put a shift in. Glad to hear that his ankle is fine.

Hardly a classic game, but very tricky conditions. Richmond were probably unlucky not to come away with more than a LBP, but Jersey were rewarding for their persistence at the end.

I will refrain from mentioning the man in the middle.

Hurrell ! He is a top player ! BUT he cant pass and is fourth choice at Bristol that does not make sense !! Call me old fashioned but a prerequisite of a Rugby player surely is can you PASS and CATCH oh and run is useful !!! Smile

I have to say that when Hurrell played at Donny, for Bristol, he seemed to pass a lot in that game. He has got a reputation as a crash player though, which would mean he holds onto the ball to break through the tackles. Would be happy for him to come back to Donny.
Onward and Upwards C'mon Donny!
