Great to see Ben Evans right up with play in the photo. Ben is a great bloke and an absolute legend in Jersey.

Plymouth Albion welcome back favourite son Martin Rice (2005-10). Late of Cornish All Blacks and once on loan to Wasps courtesy of Trevor Woodman. Having taken over the family farm after the sudden passing of his father, he wants to play a bit more before hanging up his boots for good. He can read, he can write and yeah, he  does the tractor thing as well.

PS. Knows a thing or two about scrumming too,  it's said.
Come cheer up, my lads - 'tis to glory we steer!

Returns? Confused

Bit of journalistic licence from the author too, Reds' come back was under way before before Matavesi's cameo, that said, he certainly made a big contribution during his 26 minutes.

Returns!  Well he did play one game for the Development team a few years back I suppose.

Now if his brothers played for Redruth now they would have returned being former Reds Mini/Juniors.

Doncaster have a horrendous injury list at the moment, Stephen Bannister comes into the team for Saturday and Lucas Guillaume is on the bench

Let’s hope we get some of our injured players back soon.

What is horrendous? The Knights need a squad of 40 all capable at level 3 and a third or so with significant level 2 experience - if they are indeed intent on returning to the Championship. If that is the case then it is serious long term injuries to up to 8 players that impacts upon current performance.
Many clubs at levels 3 and 4 are complaining about injury lists in double figures. Competent coaching with rotation, adequate game time for all, and effective dual registrations make the difference.
