That is great news. Seals is a quality player and will hopefully lead to plenty of fast, free-flowing attacking rugby. I don't know if this means that Garry will be focusing more on coaching and less on playing or whether the two will alternate, but there is no harm in having two quality fly halves.

Alternatively, a provisional backline could be:
9. Dudman
10. Seals
11. Radwan
12. Law
13. Frankland
14. Gill
15. Auld

As Chris Auld can play several positions, particularly 12 and 15, this gives flexibility as Bragman could also play 15 depending on the weather and opponent. Also, McCartney might start on the right wing instead of Gill if a more powerful presence is preferable.

As long as he has recovered from whatever injury curtailed the number of appearances last season, that's a bit of a relief because I was concerned that we only had one scrum-half on the books.

I hope (sincerely) that Eoghan ups his game somewhat after last season's up and down efforts.

Good luck to him.

Why has this been 'un-stickied'?

I'm sure there's plenty more business to be done yet, and the other levels' equivalents remain sticky, on checking just now.

Ben Palmer (10) from OA back to Coventry.
Ben lives and works in Cov, and was commuting past the BPA to OA, and will be very welcome back. His brother Josh is already one of the Cov development team.

Darlington Mowden Park are delighted to announce the signing of Hartpury College’s Alfie Barron. The young prop joins the club following a hugely successful season at Hartpury, having been part of the BUCS winning side at Twickenham in March. Mowden Park DOR Danny Brown was delighted with the addition to his squad: “It’s great to have Alfie joining us for next year. He’s a very athletic prop who gets around the park and his quality was shown by him making the BUCS team of the year squad. We look forward to the competition for places in the front row next season.”

Barron was also part of the recent England Students squad, alongside current DMP players Simon Uzokwe and Dan Preston-Routledge. The 21 year-old, who has also represented England U18s, was relishing the challenge ahead: “I’m really excited about the move up North and I can't wait to get started with pre-season. National one looks a tough league this year so I'm really up for the challenge.”
