It hasn't been announced, but Darlington Mowden Park have a couple of new additions to the team on their website: the South African Brandon Asher-Wood (listed as right wing) and hooker Curtis Langton returning to the club from a spell in the North West.

Where have you got that information from FS? is it accurate?

It does show them as first team players on the club website which has recently been updated. But after Curtis Langdon signing and leaving before playing a game last year I would say we are best to wait for an official announcement on this one.

I'm also waiting for an official announcement, because it seems odd that such potentially exciting signings have flown under the radar.

It seems Curtis Langdon is at Fylde he is in their squad for tomorrow's match vs Caldy.

Have boots, will travel?
If I remember correctly, he signed for Mowden last season after coming through the London Irish Academy, but didn't play in any games before going to Sale and then Macclesfield. He is young (20 years old) and understandably wants to maximise his talent, but it appears he travels from club to club with astonishing regularity.

Two departures from Coventry.

Long serving back Cliffie Hodgson has left Coventry to become a player/coach at nearby Broadstreet. He made 12 starts and 4 replacement appearances for Coventry last season, and it was clear he was unlikely to make more this season.

Jake Byrne (prop) has been released by Coventry and has gone to Leicester Lions. He made 9 appearances for Coventry last season, 7 of these as replacements, from the development squad.

Best of luck to both of them, players at opposite ends of their careers.

There wasn't an official announcement before, but there is now!

Bragman has been in the crowd at both home games this season

That's interesting. I wonder if he's injured or behind Warren Seals and Grant Connon in what has been a settled XV so far, with Garry Law on the bench.

Josh has gone to Northumbria University and wants to concentrate on his studies whilst playing University rugby, rather than the high pressure rugby Nat 1 demands.

Comms team like to time the press releases for the Thursday before a game. He's actually done three training sessions already.

First announcement for 2018-19 (and 2019-20) - but it seems a bit early to start a new thread for next season!

Coventry have announced that lock Nile Dacres, has signed a two season extension to his contract. Nile came to Coventry this season from Plymouth Albion, and has played in 14 out of 15 matches. He is captaining the side for tomorrow's game against OA as other recent captains are rested on the bench.
