As all the other leagues are making predictions for the coming season i wondered whether there were any early thoughts on our league.

In no particular order
Top 3 Dings, Exmouth & Brixham
Bottom 3 Cleve, Newbury & Lydney

Pure guess work on my part, and considering my showing in the predictions league no notice should be takenSmile

Predictions are always tough at this stage but for this league more so than others. I think its going to a very competitive one with no whipping boys.

Exmouth will be up there as they always are when in this league. Brixham have added quality.
Dings will be looking to push on from last seasons play off defeat. Cambourne, Ivybridge etc won't be walkovers.
Don't shoot Lydney down just yet, they've made some interesting signings although I doubt that will be enough to challenge at the top. Anyway I'm waffling on....

1. Exmouth
2. Dings
3. Brixham

12. Can't decide for the life of me
13. Cleve
14. Newbury

I expect Maidenhead to do very well. Exmouth and Ding will also be there or there abouts

I drove past Dings new ground earlier this week - very impressive especially for a team at this level. I don't know much about the plans for the future but wonder whether Dings will now part with the cash to build a squad capable of getting back into ( and staying in ) Nat 2 S?

Judging by the comments Dings could well get back up there which potentially leaves Bristol with 3 teams in Nat 2 Clifton are the side with the connections to get into Nat 1 but do they want to go there?

I know of a few local players around Bristol Dings have approached about joining. Not 100% clear on the sort of incentives been offered but they are certainly trying to use their new facilities (and rightly so) to attract players and get promoted. I'm not convinced Clifton are anywhere remotley near ready to step up both on and off the pitch but anyway this is not a Nat2 thread so I will stop there.

I'm going to sit on the fence a bit, and only predict a top 3...
1. Dings
2. Exmouth
3. Ivybridge

If Bracknell sign Hala'ufia then I'd back them to be in the mix, and with the signings they've made, Brixham will be right up there.

Pleased to see all have my own club at Heart , The New Ground / Facility is indeed quite breath taking especially if your on the roof , in answer to `Stevie`s question on Incentives,  we are trying to offer a clean way of Living , good friendship  , a few good  beers , Sunday School and a after match laugh , other than that  it same ol Dings ,  its a shame that with  a small demographic supply of players in the Bristol Area and with all being  promised   and   that some clubs are so desperate to spend money that History says they don`t have , its all very disapointing  ,

but the good news is that Dings have already been recruiting A New Youth Section , and Numbers have already Doubled , so its there we feel the investment should be made , and not on a quick fix, last season was a Bonus , but we are in no doubt that teams will be keen initially in their quest for the Poisoned Chalice  of Promotion , still its fast approaching , so we will see lets hope all enjoy what is a very competitive League Evil Smile
The Only thing that held me back was a lack of Talent

All the best for next season Bluepig-and well done to all at Dings for a fantastic achievement. I knew Mr Bowden many years ago and its good to see such a good club man rewarded.

Dings take on Birmingham and Solihull Bees at home, this Saturday, in a preseason friendly. The game could be a good indication of the potential of both clubs as far as  their respective aspirations for promotion are concerned.

Watched Barum v Brixham yesterday. only a friendly and lots of replacements but the game was played at a fast pace and was very competitive. Must say I was impressed with Brixham, especially their defense and would not be surprised to see them thereabouts at the top this season.

Can't really stretch to a Top 3, bottom three, instead offering a top two bottom two (!)
I would expect Dings Crusaders and Exmouth to be in the top two, with Newbury and Lydney around bottom two.
I may live in Surrey, but my heart is in Cornwall.

Interesting to revisit this. My relegation candidates could well be true, but was a mile away with the top of the leasgue.
