Having seen a thread like this on the National 2 thread, I thought I'd start one.

Who are the standout players that you've seen this year from either your team or the opposition?

Suppose I'd best start

From Huddersfield
Lewis Bradley - back row
Francis Entressengle - hooker
Chris Bell - flyhalf
Callum Thompson - prop

From opposition
Jack Bickerdike - 9 - Cleckheaton
Jack Maplesden - 9 - Ilkley
Ben Magee - 15 - Ilkley
Myers - backrow - Billingham
Dante Van Der Vere - 15 - Morley
Ryan McKibbin - 8 - Rossendale
In club Tropicana the drinks are free.....

Difficult from Loo.

Liam Reeve-10 has been different class
Scott Robson at Hooker is my player of the season.
Tom Lavelle FB Most improved.

Others.

Mckibben Is class & my favourite player, but strangely quiet on Sat.
Kendal winger was rapid...tore us to pieces.
Hull wing & O/C were impressive.
Huddersfield chunky No9. Best by far IMHO, kicking was superb.

Huddersfield chunky No9? Joel Hinchliffe will take that as a compliment!

On a slightly different tack, in the last few weeks I've seen Huddersfield play Firwood Waterloo, Morley and Cleckheaton, and I've been impressed with the spirit that all sides have shown. No "throwing the towel in" with any of them, even though I suspect they all thought they were not best placed to win.

Ryan McKibben at Rossendale
Jack Ward at Rossendale
Dan Dixon at Billingham
Mark Chester at Morley
Dante Van der Werwe at Morley
Elliot Hodgson at Huddersfield
Tom Coad at Sandal

To be honest, you could select any of the Huddersfield team , their record this season speaks for itself. Of the others, Liam Reeve at Waterloo, Greg Wood at Sandal have been class all year, I would also give a special mention to one of my own players at Cleckheaton in second row Ryan Piercy, regularly amongst the top tacklers and carriers in the game and has played in all 26 league and cup games this season.

Dini Noyo (winger) - Kendal
Chris Bell and the pack (especially Austen Thompson) - Huddersfield
Greg Wood - Sandal
Lee Birch - Hull
Richard McEvoy - Lymm
Special mention for whole team efforts for Billingham (at Billingham) for their attacking prowess and Ilkley (at Wirral) for their outstanding defensive effort.

Continue to be v. proud of Wirral players and coaching staff for being a close-knit bunch of friends who continue to be very competitive at this level.
