Any chances of a Chester match report on the game?
We would welcome your views.
Whilst you are at it any news on how your hierarchy are reprimanding your errant supporter who spent most of the second half vilifying, baiting, belittling, insulting and shadowing an extremely tolerant Assistant Referee. Apparently his behaviour was worthy, in some Stour ears, of permanent banishment from any rugby touchline, a sentiment echoed at the time by some recent Chester hierarchy. Such disgraceful behaviour toward officials should be snuffed out before he is allowed to repeat and land the club in very hot water. No idea whether the AR made comment of this behaviour  in his or the ref's report.

EJ,
I know what you have done in your day.
Hung, drawn, quartered and subjected to one of your sermons. The accused would then have been despatched to St. Helena or what was left of him.

I take it he never ventured near Shouty Corner, Hoffette would probably have taught him some new words had she spotted him in action.

ATH

Father of their Fly Half who had all the answers to any question on the Laws of the Game and how the Stour Scrum was at fault not their weak scrumaging.

George and his Front Row were much stronger than their opposite numbers and better for the whole game.

I was not aware that he was abusing the jolly good Ref Taylorson from Preston.

I wonder if he could have sent him to the Stands for his behaviour.

Good job he was not too close to Shouty Corner but was he an Official for Chester? If not he should have been the other side of the Barriers.

Shock horror! Rugby supporter berates officials! I think,....no, actually, I know, this is not the preserve of any particular club or set of followers. It seems fairly universal. I was not at the game on Saturday, but can't imagine it would be any different than any number of touchlines/stands in the UK.

Not sure if Chester have the right to complain about officials....I recall a number of decisions going their way during Ampthill's visit to Hare Lane.

Shame we are talking about this after such a terrific game (especially if you are a Stour supporter). I must admit I never heard him near the clubhouse. Was he in the stand opposite?

What a Christmas Cracker of a Game. Both sides giving it all they had got and you only had to blink as the game moved back and forward up and down the pitch.

As a visitor to the Game it was a shame someone had to lose but the Stour faithful got behind their team and they went home happy. as far as the Fly-half's father was concerned if it was as bad as some say then the Ref or his assistant would deal with that if they felt aggrieved. Perhaps his heart ruled his head as he was a Dad and we all know on here what that means.

Ruck Idol,
He confessed to " baiting " within the earshot of Chester and Stourbridge personnel. My request was that Chester sort this man out. Whether the AR ensured that such behaviour was in the Ref's report I know not. If, as reported, the accused was fly half's Dad then even more reason for reprimand from Chester's Disciplinary Officer. It would be good to know that such disgraceful behaviour will not be repeated , at away venues or especially at home. Cannot believe such mouth should be tolerated.
